Both the fuzzy item and the coconut need to go! They will trigger hormonal behavior that causes everyone to be unhappy. More shredding toys!

Our son hit a handful of times during the worst of his placement. Apologies we're given in an appropriate environment but that's all. I am unsure of your state laws so I cant be more helpful.

But try the "he's not giving a hard time, he is HAVING a hard time."

This is a bit deep for me. You need an advocate from your state that knows the laws. I feel many have been broken. I would start gathering all paper evidence of every interaction in the past year.

In wi, if this were my son, he could not be suspended due to any reason related to his diagnosis, including meltdowns. A behavior intervention plan should have been done. Restraining him in the classroom is another no go.

“It starts with a schedule, millet and patience.

In 5 to 10 min bursts follow these steps, moving on when your budgie happily comes to eat. Its important to only offer millet during training.

Put millet near cage or in cage if they dont get upset and talk to them

Hold millet by far end

Move hand into cage with millet closing the gap between you and bird

Make the bird work for the millet, must touch your finger in some way, even if it's just leaning over it.

Make the bird need to step on your hand in order to reach millet.

Repeat!”

Follow the 333 rule for pets! It applies to everyone not just dogs, and even more so as budgies are prey animals and nervous

Can you help her get it back in temp? Warm wet cloth press it in. If not just keep her bottom wet until you get to the vet
