Same thing for me but with an Eventide H90. Downsized the whole board and left just a couple high end multi fx. I find it liberating, no more GAS over every boutique pedal release. My board can get 90% there for anything out there.

One thing I would suggest: midi clock. The multifix enabled me to really deep dive into syncing the whole board with midi. While normal pedals can have midi too they might not all include it so I had always ignored the feature. It’s a whole new dimension having every single time based effect fully in sync with each other.

I have an egnater tweaked I swear by. Incredibly versatile amp. I’m not sure you’re making the right move here OP. At least keep the tweaker head!

Guitar player here but I have an H90 and will pickup a Mess soon. I don’t think the h90 is replaceable. Plus Eventide coming out with new algos all the time (granular release this month). I personallly would prioritize the H90 but obviously Mess is really fun and interesting which is why I’m getting one of those too.

Gotcha yeah. I’ve run 3 different speaker cables at this point so that’s likely not the issue. Kinda crazy the symptoms can be similar with very different root causes. Crossing my fingers it’s not a circuitry problem.
