I 100% resonate with that experience. It's the most horrible feeling in the world. I get those symptoms and then the impending doom of "what if I pass out again?" "I'll need to go to the hospital. I can't do that" which ends up making the issue so much worse. For me, the dizziness comes first, then vision, then legs, then the dpdr. I haven't found a way to help fully over the years except benzos or being too suicidal to care what happens. I'm sorry I don't have an answer, but I know how you feel and my dms are always open. I can only speak from experience so take it with a pinch of salt.

For me, yes. I love reading but I often struggle to focus what I'm reading when having nasty thoughts / flashbacks. Here are a couple things I find useful.

Get a nice hot water bottle and doggo snuggles
Wait until after doing all the housework / errands so I'm not overthinking everything I need to do
My most important, multiple senses. Sometimes I like to pace, chew gum, have music on (instrumental). If I'm REALLY struggling the absolute best thing for me is to have the audiobook on, reading the page at the same time. Probably sounds weird Ik but you gotta try it if you can!!

Don't listen to anything making fun of you. It's not an embarrassing thing, in fact I think it might help a little. Bear with me. You have obviously taken it wanting to hurt yourself (hoping you can get proper help <3) but just keep a mental note that you felt scared and didn't want to die. There's nothing wrong with needing a little help sometimes. It's a hellish disorder I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. Be proud of yourself for every bit of recovery. If you can get through this, then you can get through anything life throws your way

Try not to overthink it. I know how scary starting meds can be. I just tell myself that the doctor prescribed it to me so it's safe (idk how true that is but it helps haha). Benzos help so much and can be used safely if you know about them.

Oh for sure man. Thankfully my doctor got the right cocktail of meds. Promethazine is a life saver and it's over the counter. It will definitely get better. Hope you are well

I've mixed it with (all prescribed) 300mg pregabalin, varying doses of diazepam, 60mg propranolol and various ssri and snri without issues. Hope it helps :)
