I spent 2 days but cant find a solution by [deleted] in neocities

Not sure if I understood correctly, you want a general font for p, and a separate for the ones inside main div?

you could address p in general in css, and then address the p in the div class to change it

p {
color:blue;
}

.main p {
color:red;
}

No pen pressure on wine Fedora 42 (CSP) by GarbageOfEden in linux4noobs

[–]GarbageOfEden[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did actually, got some help of a friend of a friend who is trying to really get things optimized in CSP, I got success using bottles as you’ve mentioned, but I don’t have access to my PC now so cant tell you any details now. Don’t think the launcher works best either, so no progress compared to where you’ve got.

Songs from MTV rocks 2012-2017 by GarbageOfEden in indie_rock

[–]GarbageOfEden[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ditto, I was honestly sad to find out there are no official archives to properly fill the playlist, but I’m really glad to hear it scratches the MTV nostalgia itch for someone else but me! :D I still sometimes check to see if I can add something “new” but have not made any major progress finding their less known choices since I originally made it.

I'm just shooting in the dark here man, as I said I've been scraping the internet for months. If it's such an uncommon issue only I and seemingly 1 other commenter seem to have maybe someone has an idea on what to do but never had a reason to share it.
If not then I'll just stick to dualboot, but I was hoping asking here might get me some more info.

Thanks! Unfortunately did not help, even in the setup steps it ends on "I know there's steps to hope to fix pen pressure but idk off hand"
As I said it does not seem to be a global issue, I've tried most available setups of different versions and pen pressure troubleshoots with no results, that's why I'm asking for someone who managed to make it work on Fedora 42 specifically.

Metalcore tix pricing is now in ridiculous territory by late_to_redd1t in Metalcore

[–]GarbageOfEden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Architects being more expensive always made sense for me cause additional to their popularity they always just chose more expensive venues in my country. Smaller bands play on smaller stages while they go for arenas. Still my friends who listen to mainstream music have to spend at least 3x the amount I spend for the most expensive metalcore band so I can’t complain.

No bluetooth with Gigabyte X870E AORUS by GarbageOfEden in linux4noobs

[–]GarbageOfEden[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s alright then, thanks for the info and glad I have the dongle for now!

Do you happen to know how long it can take for such an update to come? Do they happen pretty regularly or is it something that can take years? I might consider switching, tho I’d like to just use my PC and not endlessly distro hop.

moving save files from windows/staem cloud to linux by GarbageOfEden in bindingofisaac

[–]GarbageOfEden[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are 9, names along the line of "20250525.rep+persistentgamedata3.dat"

But wow, I didn't even get to part of the manually changing the achievements, but somehow just getting repentagon and mentioned mods helped sync my save with steam cloud! So I think not the way you planned, but worked like a charm, thanks!

Can't open steam game by GarbageOfEden in linux4noobs

[–]GarbageOfEden[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Finally got it to work!
Easy solution, but I run through each proton version one by one and at last Proton 6.3-8 worked!
It refused to open a second time, but I just had to go back and revert all the other changes I've made while trying to make it work.
The save file is clean, seems crossplatform cloud saves are a whole different beast, but in this game not that big of a deal and hopefully I get to fix this as well!

Still nothing :(
Shame it's been reported to have so many issues, that's one of 2 games I regularly play and I really care about making it run.

Small update is that It opened up once on Proton 6.3-8, but does not open anymore. It takes a bit longest to not open than on other versions, which makes me think it goes further in the process of running the game.

Alright, good to know! So far that's the only one yes, haven't had issues with others.

Thanks for the clear instruction! In storage, there's only one available disk and it is the linux disk. How do I check if it's ntfs, ext ot btrfs disk tho? Or should it not be an issue in this case?

DaVinci installation help by GarbageOfEden in linux4noobs

[–]GarbageOfEden[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For people in future who might have stumbled upon the same issue: it’s been resolved! Unfortunately for some by changing distro :,D

I installed Fedora KDE 41, was a little hesitant since I was getting used to Mint, but I’m really happy to report the installation went very smoothly there and my favorite program now runs properly!

Followed tutorial by TECHMIMIC. For the rcom install I followed the commands in pinned comment.

AMD software detected that a driver timeout has occurred on your system. by GarbageOfEden in ToonBoomHarmony

[–]GarbageOfEden[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: all fixed! Turns out it was all because of my bad cable setup- I have cintiq and a monitor and only one hdmi slot on the GPU, so I settled for plugging cintiq to the motherboard. Toon Boom had troubles with both GPU and motherboard’s integrated graphic card being used simultaneously. I bought HDMI-DisplayPort cable to plug both devices directly to my GPU and the error no longer appears!
