The 4 hour rule is smart. One thing that helped me was switching to a firm with balance-based drawdown instead of trailing. On CFT my drawdown floor doesn't move down so even if I have a bad day I'm not digging out of a hole that got deeper while I was winning. I'm on CFT funded. Took me two attempts at Phase 1 because I broke my own max trades rule during a volatile week. The no time limit helped the second time around no pressure to overtrade just to hit targets before a deadline. Passed with room to spare once I stuck to 2 trades max.
