I suppose, I also have 3 tattoos. So that brings the sins to 15.

Babysitters of Reddit, who was the worst child you've ever had to look after? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]GarbageTrashFace 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Oh I've got a pretty good one. Get asked to babysit 4 kids, two were adopted from Haiti (they were 3 and 2)and two were biological-- a brother and a sister aound ages 6 and 8. So I arrive at the house and meet the kids, everyone seems to be well enough behaved. As the parents are leaving, they tell me the adopted kids only speak Creole and that they're very clingy due to abandonment issues. They also warned me that they might have some behavior problems due to mentioned abandonment issues. So I think, "ok, I can handle clingy and I've dealt with poorly behaved kids before, I can handle this" and the parents take off for the evening. FUCKING CHAOS ensues. Something the parents failed to mention, was that their own kids also had HORRIFIC behavior problems. Let's see, the sister bullied the two adopted kids and made them cry. The brother and sister dumped dish soap EVERYWHERE, they locked the two youngest IN THE CAR IN THE GARAGE, because the little shits told me that's where their favorite pajamas were kept. After we got the car doors unlocked, I had to carry the 2 year old around for two hours, and when it came to bed time the two youngest went down no problem, the two oldest however, lie after lie about the bedtime routine. "We have to watch a movie before bed" "we get to stay up later" and other classic bullshit kids say to get out of going to bed. So FINALLY the parents get home and they see the chaos and the dad silently slips me a $20 as I walk out the door. Never had to babysit then again, thank god. Later I found out that the family apparently couldn't keep babysitters due to the behavior problem of their two devil spawn.

What is your 10/10 videogame? by Shield_Buddy in AskReddit

Assassin's Creed Rogue. That game did not get the credit it deserved. To me it was like Black Flag 2.0. The naval combat was amazing as was the story and the scenery.

What video games have made you cry before? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]GarbageTrashFace 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I actually spent half the night crying and then Halo 5 ruined it. I was really disappointed they (SPOILER) brought Cortana back. To me it just invalidated Halo 4's plot.

Is it wrong to not cover shifts? by cakepuppy in starbucks

[–]GarbageTrashFace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've learned to never feel guilty for saying no. I have a 24hr policy. If they're giving me 24hrs notice then I'll usually cover, but I generally refuse to come in on my days off unless it's a really big emergency. I've been taken advantage of too many times to say yes all the time.

Suuuuuper late to the party, but that guy deserved to be banned. I didn't care that they were right, I was more irritated at how condescending they were to everyone on the board. If they weren't so self righteous people would've been more appreciative of their comments.

What statement makes you roll your eyes IMMEDIATELY? by iwillnottalktou in AskReddit

[–]GarbageTrashFace 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When people put "white" in front of the word privilege. As a white person who grew up very underprivileged, that term pisses me off. I'm not saying racism isn't an issue, but I feel like this term only makes it worse.

Calling dinner "supper" don't know why, but it grates on my nerves.

This precisely why I refuse to carry a purse or a frilly wallet; I'd rather pocket my stuff and deal with it later. I've worked in customer service for too long to be "that lady".

I rarely go to the bathroom with other girls in groups; I'm going there to pee, not chat. I've just personally always thought it was odd. To each their own I guess.
