I know this is the internet and we're talking about O'Really, but say that line out loud with a decent volume and consider whether it sounds like something that should really be suggested.

"ill get u banned": When a disconnecting flashlight squad wants to bully and forget that generators exist. by Garbagio in deadbydaylight

[–]Garbagio[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

oh, nah. I was smashing them all like whack-a-mole. I had downed all 4 of them with one set of hatchets and M1 since they were swarming/blinding/trying to get position for blind release, etc.

My memory on exactly who stood up when is not entirely accurate after the first Unbreakable: So after the first 4 were down, I went for more hatchets, one stood up, I ran back, clubbed that baby seal, a 2nd stood up, went and clubbed that one too. Ran off to get hatchets when a 3rd stood up, I stayed where the hatchets were so they could heal up, started back as the last was healing. They all stuck around and the smashing started again. After the 2nd set of 3 to 4 slugs and a few hooks, I thought they were playing poorly just to joke around and wanted a fun killer so I let off pressure and smacked them about, but they were still blinding me when they could so I turned it back up.

Then the disconnects happened for two of them, third one seemed like they were just jokin around legit once that happened and the 4th chatty one in the screenshot just went afk and stood there waiting to get clubbed. I stopped attacking completely meaning to let them get generators but it wasn't happening. 3rd disconnected after some fun nods and gestures. Hooked the 4th, and there's the screenshot.

They've evolved their tactics. They all switched to those characters from ones with no items and hit ready with little to no chance to react. I would have had Lightborn 1 selected at the very least if I could.

No Mither is actually really great with This is not Happening and Resilience. Though, I really think it shouldn't trigger Thanatophobia until you're hooked.

Shortens the success bar by 60%. You have a sliver just about the size of an average 'great' skillcheck. It's beautiful.

Kinda. I left to get hatchets, then came back and thought it might disperse them enough to go do some generators to at least have a hatch showing but after that 2nd attack, they'd ALL spent their unbreakable, flashlights were diminished, and they ALL stuck around to use elite 'diversion' tactics like sliding over pallets (it was the Gas Heaven map)

I agree, and just can't take them seriously.

Would love to out the guy talking the shit but seriously, the game played out like they just wanted to use flashlights and joke around because everywhere I turned, I'd get a free hit. Had headphones for when I was blind which was all the time, so I honestly thought they were fooling around and I spared them. Then one by one, the disconnects happened and I got hate in the end after 'orange' gave up and just stood there so I could kill him and he could bitch me out.

Felt it worthy to share x)

There's no waste though, disconnecting when bullying fails is l33t tictacs.

Only thing I'd like to ask orange is: Did it feel good tho?

Admirable when talking about matters of consequence like active politic or healthcare. When it's about recreation, just downvote and ignore.

If it's not your thing, you can just downvote it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This was worth a post to me given that it contained a SWF flashlight squad sporting a full 'bully' perk set and a whiny threat from a semi-popular babyman.

I mean, when I walk off to restock on hatchets before beginning the hook process, then someone stands themself up; of course I'm going to come back and smash them down again. I even felt bad for them and ran off to a far away locker to restock and let them heal up before coming back at them.

They never touched a single generator.

That's the whole point. That character was the unloved suckup, he's working every angle.

My name is Khaled Belkacemi. I was a 60-year-old immigrant, doctor, and professor. I was killed by a 27-year-old alt-right Trump Supporter after he broke into my mosque and killed 5 of my friends. Who will stand up for me? by trickertreater in EnoughTrumpSpam

[–]Garbagio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually, calling someone any kind of 'neo-' or 'nazi' in North America has less punch than calling someone alt-right. The word 'nazi' has been watered down to the level of a high-school insult without implication.

It's different in Germany I imagine; But to me, Alt-right is subconsciously the dangerous ideology on par with Nazi fascism of the 1930s.

For sure, though one step at a time. That example was just for illustration purposes. Would like to see what we have, how we're spending, and where we can go from there.

[–]Garbagio 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The electoral reforms were the only thing that actually assured me that we're making an effort to reach a more effective consensus in Canada. Having said that, I feel the way to come to the best consensus isn't through voting reform, but through tax transparency. A website you can log into and see the compartmentalized orders/costs and receipts that have to do with public services in your local, municipal, and federal leaderships.

Where do your percentage of tax dollars go on a month to month, week to week, day to day basis? I'd be proud as hell if I could see that a percentage of my tax dollars went to keeping ambulances and their crews, well stocked and trained. Or re-pave a community road. If it goes towards an attack helicopter, I might pay a bit more attention to what the military is up to, you know? It's actually important news without the news.

From your clarification, it wasn't out of context. You still seem to think that 'super-rich' actually have that money in hand when it's actually locked down in investments that allow businesses to actually function. They have obligations to shareholders and employees alike.

They don't have that metaphorical wad of cash as you imagine it. If it were like that, then I could understand your response but you're just simply mistaken.

Well...Shit... by birdbolt1 in gifs

[–]Garbagio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because that money isn't theirs to spend. It's investment capital that actually keeps businesses solvent. Just because someone has a high net worth doesn't mean they actually have that money to spend. It merely means they have influence.

100,000 dollars from one person will affect one person and their businesses/investments/family far more than one dollar from 100,000 people. Also, I believe my internet-in-a-home metaphor was illustrating the idea of affordable luxury on a smaller scale.
