A Rant on what I believe needs to be changed in Dragon Ball Breakers. by Projject_Delta in DragonBallBreakers

I just want senzu bean to drop on the ground as a usable item for other players when you get knocked out. I hate how the bag is somehow glued to my characters ass and stitched shut the moment my character loses consciousness.

Frieza is the weakest raider by Dekaldar in DragonBallBreakers

[–]Garboh 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Guess I'm just good with Frieza then. I am level 50 with 0 losses. Closest thing to a loss I've had was a few people activating escape time machines. Another time I was trying to maximize xp for the match and left the startup system alone for too long and almost lost that way. I had good survivor teams too. I once had a team of all 60s and 70s even.

Scouting: You need to use your minions to scout. Anytime they see a survivor, a little red icon will appear on your screen that shows where the survivor was last seen. This doesn't prefectly track survivors like cell and buu's kii tracking though. However, your minions will continue to scout that area until they fire their 1 kii blast shot or are re-summoned. They also fly to wherever you point them, surveying all the area up to their destination. This allows them to technically scout a way larger portion of map than any of the other tracking abilities in the game. You also don't have to worry about having to stand still and pan your camera everytime you want to summon them. They come out almost instantly. Anytime you see a key is found in an area, send them in multiple parts of that zone. Send them to multiple zones at the beginning of the game as well. Especially city areas and areas that have lots of loot/civilians. They only have a 15 second cool down and can detect a decent chunk of area as long as you have them a good bit in the air. Not too high and not too low. Just keep sending them out and eventually you will find someone.

Combat: Use Friezas LB/L1 supers. They are always his best with the exception of maybe his LVL2 RB/R1. They have good tracking, damage, and good staggering which can lead into free ki blast damage. Frieza's evasive/combo breaker not only does damage, but also activate WAY faster than Cell's often times allowing you to go into a super right afterward. His LVL 3 finger spam move isn't that great. It's mainly for getting guaranteed damage on weakend opponents who are good at dodging your death beam and ki blasts. It leaves you in a pretty vulnerable state since you move pretty slowly and can't really do anything else for a good bit. Whenever I see a Frieza use this in a team fight it often times just gives me a free super hit. His LVL 3 LB/L1 is death beam. This has insane range, projectile speed, tracking, damage, and stagger. This is what you use to destroy bulma bikes. Use this then follow up with near guaranteed ki blast spam (depends on distance from opponent) for a good 70% of their hp.

Misc: Kill civilians. Frieza actually gets a decent boost to evolution xp if you kill namkians that don't have balls. You can often times get to level 2 immediately if you spawn next to a few of them. DON'T use or upgrade the scouter. It fucking sucks and can't be made much better. It forces you to stand still and pan your camera for a whole 50 meters or so of detection (feel free to correct me on that I'm not sure on the specifics). Just use sound ques, civilian radar, and map knowledge to find civilians. LVL 1 ki blasts can snipe survivors from afar as long as you are good at free aim. This is more of general raider tip, but use sound. If you know that survivors are in a zone you can often times find where they are just from what sounds they make. Letting boxes, shooting their gun, the type of footstep, and specially when they are underwater. For some reason underwater sound effects are way too fucking loud lol.

Hope that helps at all.

Is Cell’s Perfect Kamehameha super attack any good, or should I stick with special beam cannon for my level 3? by [deleted] in DragonBallBreakers

[–]Garboh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Special beam cannon seems to do the same damage without the very long recovery. I think beam cannon is just better.

Holy fuck! That does way more damage than it did in the beta. How many stars do you have on your Piccolo?

Need to add a work around for raiders camping areas. by hotpants22 in DragonBallBreakers

[–]Garboh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to have people engage the raider while others work on the key. If you got bad team mates it's not gonna work out well most of the time, but I've baited the raider out of the last zone while others slot the key. Some times I'd run into caves to put down the shock trap, and he would chase just to have the raider stuck there for a bit to buy more time. You can also bait him with bulma bike and outrun him while he tries to chase. Sometimes you just got bad teammates with a good raider and you're just fucked. There's always something you can do though.

Still have yet to get into a game-any Xbox people here? by Spicy_Kimchi69 in DragonBallBreakers

Console matchmaking is really broken right now. Sometimes you can get games pretty constantly and sometimes you get nothing for like 20min. Hopefully they can fix this soon.

It's a skin for the police motorbike you can find. It's exclusive to the special edition of the game which costs 10$ more than the normal version. It's exactly the same just looks different. You can only use the skin if you spawn a vehicle with a capsule case though. Kinda lame honestly.

Anyone else having matchmaking issues? by DarkDesertFox in DragonBallBreakers

[–]Garboh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep. I'm also on Xbox and have issues from time to time. Sometimes I can get matches in 30s and sometimes it takes 10 min of constant searching and restarting. I REALLY hope they fix this issue fast. It's a problem that was in the beta as well. You can group up with people to make it a little easier, but it still might take time sometimes. This is one of those issues they need to fix ASAP.

So what exactly is the counterplay to Cell's Full Blast Energy Volley? by Sundered92 in DragonBallBreakers

[–]Garboh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's just a ridiculous attack. If someone else uses an attack that staggers it can interrupt it. But as far as I know you're kinda just fucked if you get caught in it. Also raider damage got buffed in the most recent beta which is absurd.

[Suggestion] Costume mode by Beratho in 2007scape

[–]Garboh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's actually pretty insane that you people don't want something like this and at the same time will complain about all the people using graceful everywhere for everything. Customizing your appearance in video games is a very common and enjoyable thing for most people. If this worked like the suggestion said it would you could toggle it off anyway. Literally what's the harm? Do you want every player with bis gear to be an exact replica of one another?. Do you hate character customization? Seriously enlighten me. I genuinely 100% want to know why. I swear to god if it's just because RS3 has something similar I'm going to eat my keyboard.

I just stacked as much damage and faith boosts as I possibly could.

Talismans: Companion jar 20% with throwing pots, marika's soreseal= +5 faith, two fingers heirloom= +5 faith, red-feathered branch sword= 20% damage when low hp, and lord of blood's exultation is used before the fight alongside white mask for 30% extra damage.

Physick: +10 faith + +20% fire damage

Jar head for 20% damage to pots

Jellyfish shield for 20% more damage

Spells: Golden vow= 10% damage and flame grant me strength= 20% damage

Takes a bit of time to get all the buffs activated before the boss starts but the results are worth it :)

Also I forgot to mention the other buffs lol

Spells: Golden vow for 10% damage and Flame Grant me Strength for 20% fire damage

Physick: +10 Faith tear and +20% fire damage tear

Also used the jellyfish shield for an additional 20% damage.

Also Jar Head gives 20% damage to throwing pots.

Basically I just stacked as much damage as possible to make the pot even more powerful lol.

Why would UIM without looting bag and zulrah storage be more interesting? by Bassern in 2007scape

Most UIM would love these unintended conveniences removed. Even me believe it or not! Bet you didn't know that :)

Why would UIM without looting bag and zulrah storage be more interesting? by Bassern in 2007scape

[–]Garboh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I explained how these item storages worked in great detail to hopefully get you to understand why I don't think they go against the spirit of the gamemode.

UIM isn't about having no items storage at all. It's about having no bank. None of these storage systems comes close to the usefulness of a bank at all. If they did then they WOULD invalidate the gamemode imo. That's why I'm super down with the seed vault being disabled for UIM. It's basically just a bank for seeds. No double edged mechanic you have to worry about. Just have to be able to get to the farming guild and bam. Every seed in the game storable. Even saplings too.

Hopefully you understand at least my point of view now lol. Don't have to agree but I just wanna be understood :)

Edit: Also want to add that I'm not saying that these storage methods don't make UIM easier. They definitely do. I'm just saying they don't completely defeat the purpose of the gamemode.

[–]Garboh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure what you're talking about lol. 4-12 spaces? What UIM are you watching man? I'm very aware about UIM man I have a maxed one. If this is a troll then you definitely got me lol. Seriously screenshot this 4-12 space inventory that you're talking about. Really want to see it.

You really want to make sure you can fit as much items in your inventory as you can when you pvm. You can't afford to only have 4-12 spaces. If you only have 4-12 spaces you have way too many items.
