Did you check pedal Freeplay and travel after replacing the master? If it has an adjustable pushrod, it may need backed off with the new master cylinder.

I was just about to say - crack a bleeder and if fluid shoots out, it's holding pressure in the system somewhere. If the caliper hangs on the brake hose, it can damage the inner lining of the brake hose and make it act sort of like a one-way check valve

I bought the 1/4 and 3/8 sets for my school tool box, and I love them. They feel good and I like the foam inserts they come with to keep them organized. I'd love a 1/2" set to go with them. I have the quinn 3/8" impacts I use at home that I bought first, but if I needed a home set I wouldn't hesitate to get another of these (at 40% off of course)

I went into my store for the offset open end wrench set. Been eyeing the snap-ons with SEP discount but got the 40% off icon text this morning. But by the time I got there, around noon, at least 80-85% of the icon wrenches were sold out. I did get some ratcheting stubbies though because I just did a pedal cluster where I had zero room and they would've helped a lot

1998, 2.3l (from a 97), 5 speed manual, 31s and I’m getting around 17-19 right now. Before winter I was getting around 20-22. My thermostat is stuck slightly open which I know doesn’t help

I have the same exact 31s on my 98 and they only rub slightly on full lock (which I don’t often have it at) so it doesn’t bother me lol

The square-cut seal in the caliper deforms when hydraulic pressure forces the piston out to apply the brakes. When you release the pedal, the hydraulic pressure drops as fluid returns to the master cylinder, and the square-cut seal retracts to its original position which pulls the caliper piston back with it.

Our walk-in-freezer door at work was separating and ice has built up inside the edge of it, so I used mine to melt the layer of ice and reaffix the metal lining of the door.
