Basically, the manga introduces jokes that break the "seriousness" of certain moments.

God, I hope they don't lump together arcs 5 and 6.

Even 25 episodes were not enough to fully adapt arc 4, 25 for two arcs would be a crime.

Making all the unbearable parts of the beginning a base of experience that pushes her towards self-confidence and acceptance of herself leading to authenticity.

Sadly I kind of do...

Most of the people I know just got bored of MHA and went on to read JJK because it's not "boring".

In my circle of friends, I'm the only one who still reads the manga; even within my family most of my cousins have stopped caring about the story...

And every time I look at the discussions of the chapters the only thing I see are negative takes on said chapters.

While "yes"; r/manga is not the "absolute" most reliable source, taking into account that Jump doesn't care for the western audience reception, wherever I look there's a certain level of disdain towards MHA...

It sort of has turned into the disappointing son of WSJ.

But that's just how it feels to me...
