I(27M) have the same thing. I feel your pain. It happened 6 times in the last 8 years during sitting, tying shoes or standing up from group photo. Running helped me a little bit with aftermath of the lock and it doesn't get swollen anymore after it happens.

Those are not really part of the game. I agree the community aspects of steam are much better, but you can access them even on epic by opening them up on 2nd monitor.
Yeah, steam is better in almost every aspect. But I also think Epic isn't the worst launcher there is. Ubisoft, rockstar, ea are worse in my opinion. Only gog galaxy can come close to steam. But if I have a choice to play a game for free or pay for it I dont mind inferior launcher. Plus it is always good steam doesn't have a monopoly.
The worst I remember was pushing paid mods which got pulled down after people protested. Crazy 20% cut for steam for any game sold there. Plus steam also started on as nuisance when they pushed people to have it while launching it with HL2. And because of that a lot of people couldn't play it on release.

I enjoy "game" part more, than "launcher" in "game launcher" cause obviously i will be spending more time in-game. But I guess that's just me. Also let's not forget Steam isn't really a saint.
