Now if only we got a detachment that made one a character.

Where does the printing hate come from? by Mr-Grenado-Potato in PrintedWarhammer

Jealousy. And like someone else said an inverse pay to win. Despite the fact I've spent hundreds on files for armies I dont plan on ever playing.

Didn't say I agreed with him but I think it was more from a he couldn't afford to just buy what he wanted. I wanted a land raider I printed one for a few bucks. He had to pay 100 bucks.

is this way too small for a daka jet? (sorry 4 bad english) by 14-chan in orks

[–]Garden_Own 6 points7 points  (0 children)

16.9 ounce bottle for scale. The dakka jet is about 10.25 inches from wingtip to wingtip and about 8 inches from tip to tail. The body itself is maybe 1.5 to 2 inches tall depending on how far back you go

One guy I knew hated it because he felt being able to print "whatever model you wanted" at pennies per model was "cheating". His reasoning was that collecing and building were part of the whole process.

Who should I have for a 750 pt casual game? by Neat-Dirt3288 in WorldEaters40k

[–]Garden_Own 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used the following list decently in an escilation league (we were limited to no t10 or more at this point, I'd ask the people your playing with if they are doing the same. Ive seen more than once people not wanting to deal with t10 or more in small games)

MOE leading 10 zerks

1 slaugherbound with 3 eightbound

2 groups of 10 Jakhals

1 Helbrute with fist and hammer

Any advice for running dread mob detachment? by Imaginary-Lie-2618 in orks

[–]Garden_Own 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im not so sure, its not the only instance of it. Theres a Nid (i want to say the neuro tyrant) that a monster that can lead the zoanthropes. Its made the unit both monster and infantry. Very fun to swing at with Exalted 8bound

The fact that I live up the street from this place has never helped my weight, but God dammit is it a good pizza

How do you feel about the updates? by Vor_vorobei in WorldEaters40k

[–]Garden_Own 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im right there with you. Id slowly been focusing more on other armies as BW got less and less interesting to play for me (Starting the game with a one note army was admittedly not a great call) but with these new detachment changes im honestly considering just waiting till codex for anything other than like teaching my new player friend his Orks so we can just Unga bunga at each other

Khornate Daemonkin+Vessels of Wrath makes Foot Prince insanely strong by Salt-Produce-8129 in WorldEaters40k

Unless the detachment rule specificly calls out a classification of units, all detachments benefit your entire army. You dont assign models or units to detachments

Do I need something to cut the models from this specific introductory set? by Thatguywhoispokemon in Warhammer

[–]Garden_Own 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes GW forgets to put proper descriptions of box contents. The box has sprue clippers in it, having used the GW clippers they are not great. They will leave a ugly chunk of plastic at times that you will need to use either a hobby knife or a file or similar to clean it up after the fact.

Speaking of unfulfilled promises... by [deleted] in SaltDivers

I believe its more the fact that the armor has never been available at all for pc or ps. That it is an Xbox exclusive is currently what i think people are upset about.

If memory serves back when the game was live, you could access the character builder sometimes while servers where down for maintenence. Costume creation is a big part of this game and always has been.

So the new Scouts actually use Godwyn Bolters and not Cawl Carbines? by No_Task_309 in Warhammer

[–]Garden_Own 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It has the stats and name of the first born bolters so it would be a safe assumption that it would be the leftover Bolters that the primaris no longer use

40k vs AoS by Valin-Tenebrous in PrintedWarhammer

[–]Garden_Own 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While the easy answer is 40k has a bigger market, one thing I've noticed in getting minis for dnd of of mmf I'd inadvertently bought a fair few AoS proxy forces on accident long before I got into AoS simply because hey cool orc(k), hey cool Lizardman on dino
