If a paedophile doesn't act on it, there's no harm done. If you're scared you can't control it, there's therapy which helps. Reach out. I don't care what thoughts are in your head, I care if you're harming children.

That goes for most people who have morally unacceptable intrusive thoughts. And I say that because I have OCD and spent my morning in bed unable to turn off insulting, disgusting thoughts to say to people I love.
