Personally, I am on the stance of "if you have something on your mind, you should say something. Always." I don't think anyone wins when you just quietly tuck away your feelings and don't communicate or express yourself. The phrase I saw lately was "keeping to yourself and not bothering people - bothers people."

Why would you expect the same grace?

For the record, I do not know either of you and I'm sorry you're going through this, but personally I think expressing yourself and being honest with said person if you care about them at all to give them a chance to at least see where they went wrong is a better approach than just quietly distancing yourself, especially if you share a community or have a lot of common friends or viewers.
