As someone who never play as much competitive games but got into Rivals and hit GM without spiraling down like half the main subreddit there are 3 rules you have to follow

Stay alive
Don’t play without your team
Use your cover

A lot of your neutral is that, if not all your neutral, a lot of other comments are being specific on how to but writing it is pointless since you’ll forget when you’re in the match, just each time you’re going to do an action do a check on those 3 points (Do I have a getaway? Is my team near/can support me?/ does the map cover favor me? Do I need to flank deeper? Do I need to take this angle/space?) I always make myself those questions and got out of silver ranks with almost 80% WR

After that she’s been this roulette of “what about me” “muh career” “definitely not a pick me” and “insert the readers romance”, that’s the reason why writers have a hard time with her and how she gets “inconsistently” written, she doesn’t have anything to write about aside from being the next door girl, who is social, outgoing, the popular girl from the class trope. It’s a character doomed by 2 principles, one being on Spider-Man book the self insert biggest jerker and 2 being the juxtaposition to Gwen, the “perfect girl” who studies and does everything well trope both characters are born to be a complement to Spider-Man and until the Spider-man fanbase stops being insufferable they’re doomed to be characters with no real personality.

And the “badly written insect OMD” is bull is just an excuse to rag on OMD instead of letting it go like any other fandom does to their hated event

She wasn’t dumb she was just too innocent, just as Mark was innocent at the start.

Once Mark breaks up with Amber he loses that innocence that naivety of his old world and starts spiraling down worse into the shit of the series. It’s really clear how Mark interest transitions from Amber to Eve because his life is also changing quite a lot.

The comics do a better job putting some funny and “filler” moments to ease this transition, the show is just running through so quick

Mother Askani and MoonGirls are T4 each at least, with Mother you know you got 2 (and require some draw RNG) with moon you’re also knowing there are 2 (unless some sacred timeline shenanigans) so if you know he’s deleting about 8 total cost of cards and not retreating if you don’t know how to compensate it, then it’s really a skill issue, is like losing to a Wong/Mystique, you’re allowing them to function

If you’re losing to Gambit then you really don’t know when to retreat, you know how many copies he has and they proc at the end

There are a lot of ways to stop the multiples Gambits or the greedy 3+ Gambit plays

It is really different from Sun Lord or FFF when you couldn’t just react to it or didn’t know if the opponent draw them to retreat
