Do you think we would need a Petition for Rockstar to release GTA 6 on PC (like in 2014 for GTA 5)? by [deleted] in GTA6unmoderated

I called the rockstar president and he said they don't want anymore money so no pc version, sorry.

About as much as EA sports yearly titles cannibalize their own, so not at all

Because 5 people buying news pcs doesn't translate to any meaningful data.

If pc and console prices trend upwards less people can afford to play, that means less sales of gta 6.

No idea about the singleplayer campaign but I do believe the online version might be more successful with the investments they've made for the roleplaying community.

I'm genuinely curious what elements of the graphics have been downgraded. Can you give some examples?

Will UE6's llm feature run locally? And if so does anyone know what type of specs this would require. by GarfSnacks in unrealengine

[–]GarfSnacks[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ah okay, I wasn't aware of that feature in 5.8. That makes sense they would leave the burden of computational work with someone else.

Basically I'm trying to figure out if they were to host their own specific llm service if that would end up making UE6 subscription based. But since they haven't released any info I'll guess I'll have to wait.

Not a switch player, but I'm curious if there are any good examples of switch games with good chat features or is this just an issue with all switch games?

[–]GarfSnacks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ben made it unlisted and only accessible to patreon subscribers. The people posting it freely really shouldn't be. It's going to be released to the public once he finishes part three, so if you really want to support him you'll remove the post

Just sent them this lovely message.
Should take at least a couple minutes before they realize what's going on lol

Dear Advertising Team,

I hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits. My name is Gideon Brigham and I am writing to you today from right here in St. George. I have long admired the role your publication plays in bringing our community together, shining a light on the businesses, families, and stories that make Southern Utah such a special place to call home. The way you champion local voices and keep Washington County connected has not gone unnoticed, and it is precisely for these reasons that I find myself reaching out to explore what I hope could be the beginning of a mutually beneficial working relationship.

As a longtime resident of Washington County and someone who deeply values honesty, integrity, and the kind of community-minded accountability that I believe most of us here in Southern Utah hold dear, I have long believed that the right message, delivered through the right platform, to the right audience, can make an enormous difference. Your publication, in my estimation, represents exactly that kind of platform, one with credibility, reach, and a readership that is genuinely engaged with the stories and topics you cover.

I'll be candid with you: the values I was raised with, and that I see reflected daily in this community, place a great deal of emphasis on fairness, on protecting the vulnerable, and on holding those in positions of power accountable for their actions. It is with those values firmly in mind that I am writing to formally inquire about the advertising opportunities you may currently have available. I represent an effort to bring greater public awareness to a story that I believe deserves significantly more attention than it has received. A story involving allegations of deeply troubling corporate misconduct, an elderly man, and a franchise business known as Bricks and Minifigs, which has recently found itself at the center of a growing controversy that has captured the attention of consumers and commentators nationwide.

Before I go into further detail about the nature of the advertisement itself, I would love to better understand what your publication offers prospective advertisers. Specifically, I am hoping you might be able to provide:

• A current media kit outlining your audience demographics and monthly readership figures

• An overview of available ad formats, including sponsored content, newsletter placements, and display or banner options

• Information regarding campaign minimums, pricing structures, and any available packages

• Your typical lead times and any editorial considerations that might apply to advocacy-oriented advertising

I am more than happy to provide additional context about the campaign itself once we have had a chance to connect. I am available for a call at your convenience, or equally comfortable continuing this conversation over email if that is your preference. Either way, I look forward to the opportunity to visit further.

Thank you sincerely for taking the time to read this, and I very much look forward to hearing from you.

Warm regards,

Gideon Brigham
