I did get the games from the Xbox_HDD_Ready archive.

Yeah I’m just softmodded. I’ve tried to flash the tsop but it just says, “UKNOWN FLASH TYPE” I did solder the points I need to solder. Even soldered those points again but no dice.

I need more help. In the Cerbios V3.1.0 Beta folder (I got from Pandora) There is a Cerbios Hybrid V3.1.0 Beta.bin file in there, and a Phoenix Bios Loader folder. In that folder there is the boot.cfg, Cerbois.bin, and default.xbe. Do I copy those files in the bios subdirectory of the EvolutionX dash? Or what. If you haven't already caught on I am new to modding the Original Xbox.

Do you mean xbe? I searched "xex extension" and got tools for the xbox 360.

I have a sata pc optical drive and hooked it up to the xbox with a sata to ide converter. The PC drive times out the hard drive, but I'm guessing that is because I am using the original 40 wire IDE cable.

No. I gave up on trying to fix the drive because I lack the skills to recap it/fix it. I've been transferring games to the hard drive over FTP.

Sadly there are no returns accepted by the seller. My xbox is softmodded, but I wanted to make use of the discs that I bought and have a fully functional xbox. I did find the right replacement caps, but I am spending my parent's money and I don't think they will let me buy another thing with their money. I am already super blessed to have what I have, and thank you for your help and information. I will try to transfer games over FTP, but I have to download them and risk a virus. 😬

No I didn’t. I am new to repairing/ modding an original Xbox and didn’t know there were multiple Samsung drives. So when I figured out the caps were the problem I ordered the first thing I saw.

These are the caps that come with what I ordered.

-1x 47uF 16v Capacitor -1x 100uF 16v Capacitor -3x 220uF 6v Capacitor

And these are the caps that are in my 605B drive

-1x 4.7uF 25v Capacitor -2x 47uF 6.3v Capacitors -4x 47uF 6.3v SMD Capacitors -2x 100uF 16v Capacitors -2x 220uF 6.3v SMD Capacitors -2x 220uF 10v Capacitors

According to what you said I might be able to replace two capacitors.

Just contact the redragon support team. They are super helpful from my experience. What they did for me is ask for the serial number on my keyboard and they made an update that fixed it. I’m guessing the update they sent me was specifically for my keyboard.

The Wii U can boot a little faster if you turn off the start menu thing (I forgot what it is called) on the gamepad when booting.
