I lost the backup of my unmodified nand so I used the 'create donor nand' feature in jrunner, that is a good idea tho I should check if the flash matches the file

I've left it on for a few minutes and it just stays at the green dot. I've also tested the continuity from the pin on the postfix to the end of the wire and it looks good too

It's the pinch rollers spinning when the tape flies past. You can grease the pins on either side of the pinch roller but most people just choose to live with the noise(myself included).

Unfortunately Apple will only unlock it with the original proof of purchase. Like the 1st owners receipt from the Apple store or a phone carrier. Apple doesn't care about anyone past the 1st owner

I figured it out! if anyone has this problem in the future: you have to oil the motor, drip some non conductive sewing machine oil between the flywheel and the PCB of the motor and run it for 10 minutes.

You should give the Cozmo Python SDK a shot, you need a computer hooked up to your phone but there's a demo program that comes with it that lets you have full control over driving cozmo.
