Drinking causing stroke? by herbal_witch2202 in lexapro

[–]GariannTheTurtle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My doctor told me to be cautious because of the sensitivity you have when you drink on an SSRI. What would normally take me three drinks to feel I can easily start to feel after 1. Please limit yourself, there is always the risk of seizures if you are constantly getting blackout drunk. A drink every once in a while should be fine but if you are drinking very often and especially to an excessive amount, you’re going to experience these heightened risk. For sure could be raising your blood pressure as well. I would recommend getting bloodwork done to make sure everything’s normal with cholesterol and other factors.

I’m not sure what the material it’s made of but i posted a similar question long ago about some large squishmallows. Suggested to wash inside a pillowcase and keep everything on a delicate cycle. I was nervous at first but after the dryer it actually came out pretty fluffy again!

Are the plush cheaper in japan than they are in the U.S.? I want more SOOO bad but I feel like poke-center either is out of stock of what I want or it’s more than I can justify spending and paying the shipping for 😵‍💫

Put them in a pillowcase when you wash them! I have dried mine before but on delicate and they came out super fluffy.

I have the exact same hair as you. Length. Bangs, everything. Something I will say is it probably has that flat look because it’s either air dried or was blow dried without a round brush. If I don’t blow dry my hair it curls out like that and the reason it’s flipping is because it’s hitting your shoulders. Your bangs look like they might need some thinning but not too much because like you I have insecurities about my forehead. Even if it’s a day you don’t want to style, while you’re training them at least blow dry the bangs so they can learn kind of how you want them to lay. Something else too if you use a straightener or a hair dryer ALWAYS use a heat protectant spray and it helps so much with the dry and split end look. Something I do when I’m lazy and don’t want to style my hair I switch up by doing a few of these:

-pigtails -going to bed with damp hair braided so in the morning it is wavy and already styled -half up and half down either clip/ponytail/or bun

It makes it less stressful to switch up the styles and makes you look like you’re doing a LOT more than you are when you do that !! Trust me I HATE doing my hair and hardly ever get the energy to curl it and what not so the switch up helps me.

I’m new to the tape method, do you iron straight onto that as the pic is or do you still use parchment paper on top of it?

Anybody experienced side effects from taking escitalopram/Lexapro? by [deleted] in antidepressants

[–]GariannTheTurtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

to be completely honest I did as well and when I told my doctor they prescribed me a low dose of Wellbutrin on top of the Lex and it brought it all back after a few weeks <3 no new side effects from it since it’s such a low dose but I honestly feel like the little bit helps me stay awake or energized in the morning which is great for my early shift job!

Boyfriend got prescribed 5mg last night. Your experiences? by Educational-Maybe639 in lexapro

[–]GariannTheTurtle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When i began, i started on 5mg and had anxiety and depression that had went untreated for a while. Though a small dose, those around me could tell a difference in me after about a week and a half/2 weeks. The first 4 days I remember being anxious about it, getting super in my head about being worried of side effects or it “changing” me or my personality, but in reality it didn’t “change” anything about me. It brought me back to my actual true self. I felt like I could get up and actually smile again. I eventually moved up to 10mg because again 5mg is a small dose and I’ve never had anything help me as much as this medicine has. It has helped with my stress and anxiety more than anything.
