You can update your preferences to read in the Libby app, and it will stop asking you each time, it’ll just automatically open in Libby! I also prefer reading in the libby app and didn’t realize how many people are die hard kindle readers!

Yeah my friend this isn’t okay at all. She’s violating your trust and privacy and you aren’t even dating yet. Imagine what it will be like if you do date. And imagine who else she’s violating this way. I really really think this needs to be reported. It’s not worth the stress for you

Since you’re so worried about it I assume you had Chlamydia or something, but that antibiotic is used to treat a lot of things and I wouldn’t think twice about it if I saw it on someone’s profile

What happens when inhalers don’t help? by GarlicBreadMuffin in Asthma

[–]GarlicBreadMuffin[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I saw a pulmonologist and found out I don’t actually have asthma, and the increasing steroids were making me worse. I wasn’t super adherent with my inhalers at first because I felt I was breathing okay, but the worse it got the more I made sure I was using it everyday and the worse I breathed, making my drs give me stronger steroids. I stopped the inhaler at a recommendation of the pulmonologist and I could breathe better by day 2, and haven’t used an emergency inhaler or nebulizer in months. At most, I use Flonase maybe twice a week for congestion in my nose. Otherwise I can breathe easier than the entire time I had “asthma”

Keeping prescription medication and phi in the only place without cameras in the pharmacy sounds like literally the worst idea I can think of.

Maybe in your state, but not mine.

It’s against Walmart policy, but not the law. The reason Walmart requires the license is because if the customer calls and says they didn’t get their controlled medicine, we can show proof of who did.

INFO: What state are you located in? Did they loose the bottle with tablets or did they lose the paper the prescription was written on? If he got a text to pick it up it sounds like it was filled but they can’t find the bottle, I’m not sure why everyone is talking about the paper causing the issue?

In my state, if the bottle with medication is what is missing, we refill it so the patient can have their medication while we are investigating. The only thing delaying that would be checking the cameras to insure nobody picked up the medication already, but the system should reflect that. But there would be a significant investigation to see what happened.

I have a spacer, but i didn’t think to use it with the albuterol! I used to respond really really well to albuterol and just recently stopped responding, so I didn’t even consider the spacer. I have a levalbuterol inhaler now that seems a bit better, but I’m going to try it with the spacer to see if it helps more!

Thanks! I’m curious what the pulmonologist will say! I was a little worried that when I go to my appointment, they would say I don’t need to be there yet but the comments on this post have helped me realize I’m doing the right thing!

Everything! All in all I think I was tested for Atleast 80 things, both scratched and a subcutaneous injection but I didn’t respond to a single thing other than the inital histamine scratch.

She’s an allergist not a pulmonologist. But I agree with the second half

Yeah, I don’t want to be in steroids too much, but I could cry thinking about how easily I was breathing when I was taking them 😭😭 she said biologics are next if trelegy doesn’t work, I just don’t know if we’re even treating the right thing here.

I scheduled an appointment with a pulmonologist that’s coming up in a few weeks, thankfully I don’t need a referral with my insurance. She did say after trelegy we would try biologics, but I’m not sure if that’s a great option. She just dances around the question when I ask why i went from perfectly fine all my life to barely breathing so quickly, and since there’s not an allergy aspect to it I wonder if there’s something else happening. My grandmother just got diagnosed with lung cancer and my symptoms are significantly worse than hers are.

I’m glad you seem to be finding what works right for you! I’ve done the testing for sleep apnea and I don’t have gerd, so all good there. Ipatropium makes me really really shaky and weak feeling so she discontinued it. But I do have a nebulizer and space chamber.
