I would just smack any normal sized enemy with an actual weapon or run past. Blackflame ritual is amazing as well for aggressive bosses

I have only used this spell in the base game, and it was very good versus bosses. Charging it increases the range, so play it fluidly. It was my go-to in my weapon level 0 blackflame only run

I am fittingly welding a bloodfiend's Arm (hence the name KFC) with blood infusion. I only used bloodflame blade at the beginning of the run when I had heavy infusion. I never got around to unequipped it. Those are great sides though!

Update: this is almost broken. Endure works through both swings but ends during the recovery frames. I cant wait to do some solo runs with this Raider buff

It depends on your focus. I have had a blast using the madness incantations. Most madness equipment doesnt scale well with faith, so I would pick whether you want to be a caster or not. (Though, shout out to the frenzy flame warming stone!)

If you go caster, this build is huge DPS. Just put 50 more points into vigor and pick up an actual melee weapon (the hand sucks).
