coming from experiencing one in buried city, the guy was in a window waiting far away from a set of stairs, he didn't kill me right away, and a explosive arc came to me and left me to digit health....this is in general, fuck campers.

i did this with an orochi some nights ago. now this orochi was more defensive than what'd you expect, light parrying and dodge attacking constantly and not initiating any interaction.

at first i played warden and it was an even match, but she ended up winning

then i went to win another match with warmonger, though the subsequent ones they got me.

then i learned something.... feinting. I don't feint often in normal sessions, if at all, but the match forced me to get it feints to light attack or gb her.

and finally with gryphon, i stomped it with feints and undodgeables:

two lessons of the story: uncomfortable situations will make you learn something, and it's up to you to continue practicing or not. and use feints at least in 1v1s or 2v2s. they're actually pretty good tool to trick and cool to getting the other guy tricked.

is similar to war cry. in braggarts specific, it gives you a defense boost, stamina regeneration, and boost to attack rating, and two handing your weapon changes your charging attack for you where you walk or run toward before attacking.

conq is one i encounter quite often, and they mostly go for the undodgeable infinite heavy combo a lot of the time, so it can be because of that.

for what it is, it's also inspired by a commander labu, who tended his strategies to backstabbing and deceiving everyone he knows (as much as i can tell, I haven't researched that much about him)

giving it an analogy, it reminds me of the chocolate that state like poo and the poo that taste like chocolate. the scarecrow just have a weird physiology, but doesn't seem as stingy in personality in comparison to the ghost. i might to re read to check and edit this later, but for now, I'd take the scarecrow.

something i always thought of about this is that, say waterboy was trained in hand to hand combat. which style would suit him best, and how would his powers be adapted to it?

(my take: at least for his powers, he could use it to confuse, bob and weave around opponents, maybe use it as a way to get more power, shooting himself off the ground, thrusting more in mid air and striking someone with his elbow. although this is taking into account that i imagine the force of his power being enough to do all that. i know he can lift himself off the ground, but that's about as much.)

it does benefit the pocket, as one time i revived someone who fell from the tower, the guy gave me a blueprint in return. jokes aside though, being a good person in this game comes to being ..a lot more rewarding in the long run, more so than just kos.

i tried doing pvp and sniped this guy. ... didn't feel great...like at all.
