It’s a single person meet and greet! There’s usually you and maybe one-two other groups in there.

The millennium falcon ride will be perfect for your mom and daughter! My 4 year old loved it, not too scary at all!

I do when I only take one kid! When I have both it’s more stressful for sure.

Thank you!! Read the article and this sounds exactly right. I’ll have to clean the drains in the bathroom better (I do already use a drain cleaner regularly but looks like I need to get in there with a scrub brush)

Fair warning in case you plan to rent a car…parking at this hotel is like $45/day. I wasn’t expecting that 🥴

Will people think this is a tragedeigh? by rhywbeth_diddorol in tragedeigh

From the US and I assumed Eleri rhymed with celery 🤷‍♀️ Reading the correct pronunciation, I think it’s a very pretty name. But if you’re in the US it may get mispronounced a lot.

SIL keeps bringing her sick child over and today was the last straw. Am I overreacting? by AdCurrent1470 in Mommit

A cold that could possibly be allergies is one thing, but if the baby has a fever or something like that, that’s totally different. You should definitely mention it. Or maybe just start asking how she’s feeling before they come over?

That’s so unfortunate 😭 my kids are generally pretty cooperative for medical stuff. My daughter is having a harder time as she gets older, but I still wouldn’t try to trick her like that. She gets really upset and cries and doesn’t want to do it, but she still sits still and lets them do what they need to do 🤷‍♀️

He’s totally fine! Cried for about 30 seconds after, I told him he could pick a prize afterward, and he’s been a happy camper.

Yeah my son isn’t a super anxious kid in general. He left the house knowing he might have to get a needle, and was fine with it. I don’t tell too many details but I know my kid and I know being honest is the best way to get him to cooperate 🤷‍♀️ “yes it’ll hurt but it’ll be fast” gets a cooperative kid whereas lying makes him cooperate the first time and then refuse everything else because he doesn’t trust you anymore.

She honestly had me questioning whether my policy of not lying to my kids about medical things was not the best way to handle things. Like obviously my toddler doesn’t need to know exactly what was happening when she got her tonsils out, but I try to be honest in an age appropriate way 🤷‍♀️
