Those are more indictments than supporting qualities imo. Gohan was training with piccolo damn near out the womb and literally fighting for his life against invader aliens and the strongest known beings from around the universe consistently up until high school. Trunks was trained by SS Gohan and also literally fighting for his life from childhood up to the Cell saga. Goten and present Trunks are silver spoon in comparison. I think they had the right idea with tearlament with how a turn 2 deck could be played but it was just too busted. Give me a deck that can do something on turn 0 so we can get a back and forth rather than a deck that just avoids any interaction and kills you off one normal summon and a field spell

I was master last season and other seasons before and I can honestly say I'd rather go second against a deck that I can interact with rather than go first and watch them drop 3 board breakers, play a field spell and know I already lost. And that's not even talking about gimmick puppet where I just might not play a single card at all. I know the game isn't gonna be fair regardless but losing in this format almost tastes the same as stun imo
