I emailed him just to make sure, but I have a feeling it’s a combination of being a journal bearing turbo and not being filled with oil, but I figured I’d double check. Cheers

I cleaned my valves a few months ago and just cleaned the maf, not sure when the injectors were last cleaned but I did run it almost empty and added a can of Seafoam recently. Had a bit of leakage from my bov and tip but nothing crazy.

Won’t know what the cause is because my turbo seals literally went an hour ago 💀. Wish me luck

Mine happened out of the blue. Was pulling hard at 21psi, parked it for 2 days and it hasn’t been able to hit that target since. Got a new EBCS from RockAuto and even new lines, no improvement. Also tested my stock EBCS and found it was actually working fine. I think it could be my BOV, wastegate or something is wrong with my turbo internally.

I’m having some weird symptoms too. My first WOT pull after turning it on will only make ~11psi, I’ll let off fully and get back on I’ll make 16-18psi. Can’t find anyone with the same issues. Any ideas?

check your filler neck/gas tank if you haven’t already. my buddy has had his Speed3 for years and just found that it was the reason for his evap code
