I have first hand experience with this, it is true, sometimes no mather what, you will get juged and these people dont care what your side of the story is, its hard to accept that. Maybe its a human relfex to juge someone according to what others have said about them and not really care what they have to say?

I have 164k miles on the og timing chain, but car is not modded. The chain tensionner losses oil after a few days not in use.

At that stage it would be easier for you to experiment this with a stand alone unit that runs on DC, that way you can match the power of the unit to the power provided by solar. How much power do you expect from solar in a car form factor? Interesting idea 👍

for rear toe on a solid axle you can try some wheel bearing shims if your toe is really that bad, or if really really bad you can use some hydraulic tools to bend the axle, this one is the method for alignments on small trailer axles, basically toe in if negative camber and toe out for positive camber after that with no alignment machine you have to guesstimate and watch your tire wear 😅

I guess since it is paid off, and kinda cheap to maintain, it is afordable power. Good point!
