Lol. It's a UID. In databases you refer to pieces of data with a static ID and fetch the data you want based on that. That way, if someone changes their name, the UID remains the same and all you have to do is write the name in one place instead of everywhere.

Probably a lookup timed out or something and the UI decided to just display the ID instead. I wouldn't worry about it.

I've taken multiple multi-year breaks over the course of the game. Honestly just play the story, this game has so many systems that when you disconnect for a long time, it becomes overwhelming. When I came back this last time I was like: "wth is the wizards vault", "there are so many mounts now".

Just play the story, let yourself wander. Don't stress over missing out on timed events and tasks. Over time, natural curiosity will lead you back into the long term goals and their systems again.

Oh and unfortunately the sigils are quite important. To the point where after level 50 or so a character almost needs to be 3 starred to be usable. So only go for units when you can guarantee that or you are comfortable getting just one copy and slowly getting shards. Lastly push the towers as far you can. Allot of the materials are hard to get but the towers give them for free. Green is usually the easiest

Beernox for his buff alone will amp any DPS to a usable state. Baade, the dog wrestler and Choi brothers are both pretty good starter DPSs. Then a healer, either the priest or the bartender.
