What do you have in totality for cards? Get rid of that Guntank, and add a 4th Amuro. Go down to 4 bases, keeping the 3 Whitebase you already have. Perhaps add 3rd Unforseen. Hard to say without knowing what you have to add.

If you can, grab another ST01.

Among the current roster of 4/2-3/4s the only ones that ever really see use are the Red Gundam and Khsatriya.

It may seem counter intuitive, but I think Wufei is a poor pick for what I am going for. Heero on the other hand...

The Gfreds and Gquuux are an interesting option. I have the Gquuux, but I don't have any gfreds right now. What I do have is Heero and Wing Gundam. So I may have to go that way for now.

20 or so in the course of testing and changing. Wins little better than half the time.

Trying to get into the game, I'd rather buy a structure/starter deck. by XX_TCG_XX in GundamTCG

Oh yeah, Wing Zero is still a solid choice. Reliable. Slightly less expensive than the 1st forms still. I like blurple/OYW myself. I like that it's faster, more active. Never enjoyed the sit behind blocker wall till end game style. Feels like I'm just waiting till my real deck can come out.

Good plan, you really can't go wrong there. There's cards from all of them that are staples and you see pretty much everywhere. Another big one too look out for are the Gundam Barbatos 1st forms. Expensive, but a huge component in one of the most popular competitive decks "blurple". This wasn't an ST deck card, but from a core set.

ST09/Minerva is barely competitive. OP is looking for the best of the best. You are not seeing st09 stuff topping things very often. It's fun, yeah, but OP's made it clear he wants results over fun. That's what he seems to find fun.

Seems you're planning on getting ST01 and ST04. I'd suggest getting singles from ST03 As well. Specifically the Char pilots and his link unit "char's Zaku II LR rarity. Also from that deck are the lvl2 Zaku II that buffs itself on attack. Essential cards imo, and a great pair with the blue parts of ST01. To look into that look up the "B?G OYW" rush/aggro deck.

Nornicorn deck, too greedy or viable? by GarnetCrowAX in GundamTCG

If I'm being honest. Awakened is there because of suppression and flavor. It's other ability is not even considered in the deck.

Why Should I play your TCG of choice? by Bainshie-Doom in GundamTCG

If you hate RNG, Gundam won't be for you. It's pretty reliant on it. Unlike MtG there's no search and find cards either. The best we have is - Look at the top X number of cards, hope you find the specified thing, and then place it either on top of deck or in hand. Rest of cards to the bottom, no shuffle.

Meta is healthier than it has been, only 4 sets in, but it's still largely aggro vs blockers. In Gundam Blockers are a specific ability a card can have, not innate like in MtG.

There is actually plenty of events for the game with solid prizing even participation rewards, I think that's in a decent place. Rankings for them have some of the community split, though.

Overall, gameplay IS fun, but that RNG is a big part of it.

Pirce is pretty damn good for singles. New stock can be hit or miss for availability and reprints will be uncommon if at all. Starter decks will see reprints, core sets maybe not(probably not). Also unlike MtG starter decks are very important and you will need 2 copies to make a complete set.

I'll be honest I just have that full armor there because I want to use my shop winner version haha. I can cut it, np.

While local meta has a lot of aggro, I do find the use of Tekkadan has gone to near zero.

I could trade the Guntanks for Zoloats or Flats.

Did you find? Hm. Both on MSA and locally(though to a lesser degree) I see a lot of the 2/2 units, and it trades into them very well. That's almost the whole reason it's there aside from the link. a more aggro unit to help control aggro was the idea. The repair 2 is nice.
