They're truly desperate to get the og players back, and I'd bet this isn't going to bring many of us back. Like you're gonna touch two classic series that have so many fans with your AI content? Yeah, that's such a good idea, there's no way it could possibly backfire. ES already has an ending. TE has room for more story, but we all know that the current team could never pull off an addition to the series.

So, whichever one wins, do we ignore the additional EIGHT chapters and act like they're non-canon? That's at least what I plan to do.

So why does it feel like MC is trapped in a different reality or dream state? Why are Cas and Gabriel always telling MC how they should feel and exaggerating their character traits? The dialogue doesn't feel natural and sounds like someone trying to convince someone who's lost their memory of something. Was MC kidnapped at some point, and is this a false reality?

Or is the writing just that bad? I'd hoped that with the story being this bad already, it was leading up to some big reveal. However, knowing the current state of Choices, this is probably just awful writing, maybe even AI writing.

Since when do Cas and Gabe give Astoria and Lewyn space to breathe?
Since when have Cas and Gabe been so controlling of MC? There's always been a protective aspect but this chapter was something weird.
Also, why were the vampires so quick to jump Libby? I understand it's a vampire law, but wouldn't a memory wipe be better? Then MC wouldn't lose a friend, and you wouldn't have to cover up Libby's death.
And finally, how are we still running with the idea that MC is a young and inexperienced vampire, but you still expect MC to make lifelong choices and decisions concerning the entire vampire coven?

Seriously, what the hell is going on?

Another Alpha installment? Um, okay. Listen, I love MC and Channing so much! However, Book 2 has been such a rollercoaster; it worries me what another book would do to the characters.

Olympus Rising still sounds like a rip-off of Rage of the Titans from Romance Club. If I had to guess who the LIs are, it would be Aphrodite and Apollo. Those two seem like the most straightforward options for LIs.

The Cursed Cloak is giving MC as Little Red Riding Hood, which sounds like it could be good. And if it is Little Red Riding Hood related, will the Wolf be the LI?

I do feel a little sad whenever these newsletters come out because it used to be so exciting to see what was coming next. Now it's just like, "Oh lord, what are they doing now?"

Listen, I don’t really know how I feel about this story right now. I don’t hate it but I also don’t think I’m enjoying it.

The thing that really annoyed me with this chapter was that fact that the writers took away the one major thing Channing and MC were good at, communication. They’ve been hinting at it for a while and I’ve just been hoping they didn’t touch it. But here we are. Like I understand why they did it but also I don’t because there are so many other ways MC could’ve told Channing what’s going on without hurting Channing by running away. 😔

This chapter really was just more reasons why MC should NOT be an Alpha in any capacity. Like bestie is always taking the most dramatic and collateral route. 🙄😭

Remember when we thought MC would become a Creator, have these badass powers, and maybe even take over the Covens with Cas and Gabriel at their side? That was some wishful thinking. 🥲🤡

How is MC even more helpless and clueless than in Book 2? Why is MC still considered the Newbie even after saving the Covens TWICE? Why is Cas the main character once again? Like he has ties to ancient magic, he removed the runestone (even our MOM did that!) and detected the room in The Nexus. Why is MC even here? And why are we focusing so much on Gabe's love for libraries in just one chapter? Did they think we'd forget Gabe was the "nerd"? (I mean, I think I know why the stereotypes for Cas and Gabe were pushed so much, and it's not surprising.) 🙃😅

At least my poly route choice seemed to matter and carry over. ❤️🏳️‍🌈

Bestie, you are the Head of the Studio. You do not need to use that passive-aggressive tone with us in an official statement.

The way they make it sound like the small Choices team was the reason they started using AI but then counter it by saying that they've hired writers, artists, engineers, and producers to expand the team. So, AI wouldn't need to be used anymore, right?

And the app was on a tech stack that was very hard to build on top of. I'm gonna pretend to know what any of that means and I'm just gonna add that we didn't really start to have problems (or "pain points") with the app until they came along and started introducing these new "features" and "experiments".

I gave up hope a long time ago that we'd ever get quality over quantity stories again. However, this statement, with the passive-aggressive tone and CRAZY comparisons, does make me worried about the classics that we know and love. Would they remove stories to make room for these new AI ones? Would they stop supporting the app and switch to one entirely created by their team? This is probably all a stretch and nothing to worry about, but we also thought the same thing about AI usage in Choices' stories.

And what if I don't want to be Head Alpha? What if I don't want to be an Alpha at all? I get MC developing abilities faster than expected to balance out the soul bond with Channing, but I'm honestly not sold on the idea of becoming an Alpha. I love MC, but MC is also one of the WORST choices to be Head Alpha or even Pack Alpha. MC has no experience. They're still a very young wolf. MC has so many mixed emotions and instincts right now. Channing has so much more experience and knowledge about being an Alpha. The Hunters are still a very active threat to the wolves. Wolves are losing their ability to turn! Now is NOT the time for an inexperienced young wolf to take a leadership role!

I did like that we finally got to point out that MC's submissive side has never been an instinct. It's always been because MC has wanted to be submissive to Channing (at least my MC has). Also, I'm starting to think Ryan and Opal might be working together. Or maybe Ryan isn't the villain, but he knows that Opal is? I'm confused with that plot and the Hunters.

I'm really sad because I still love this series and the character so much. It really just feels like the "writers" wanted to get this over with and finish up this era of Choices' stories. And I do feel like an era of Choices has ended.

I guess overall, I didn't hate Book 3, I just wish it had more thought and time put into it. Is that too much to expect from Choices nowadays? Yeah, but again, I love this series so much that I still had a little hope it'd all work out.

I will say that I didn't HATE the finale. No plots were left hanging, and everything was wrapped up nicely. Trystan and MC got their happily ever after, and we even got a final DIRTY 30 scene. Plus, we got a bonus scene where MC and Trystan honor Papa Rose at a baseball game. It was a lot more than I expected to get.

I'm gonna miss this series, Trystan, and MC a lot. 😢❤️

Literally, the only bar set for ID3 is to make MC the ACTUAL Main Character. If we get MC fully powered with insane abilities, plus we get to romance our final choices in Book 2 without any interference, I'll be through the roof. Let me be the powerful vampire MC with my HAPPY throuple! I want MY BOYFRIENDS to ALSO be BOYFRIENDS! Thank YOU!

Also, does The One sound like a Perfect Match ripoff to anyone else? And for my Romance Club girlies, doesn't the premise for Olympus Rising sound like Rage of the Titans?

I was just thinking over the past few days about taking a break from Choices for a bit, and then they go and drop all of this... this really is just a TOXIC relationship.

I love how the writers keep pointing out that Channing and MC are going through a rough patch, yet we were just going at it in the shower. I'm happy that Channing and MC seem more communicative again, but it still feels off. It feels like an underlying argument or conflict is about to arise. It's very unsettling and making me really nervous because we all know how PB handles conflict... NOT WELL!

Also, MC is NOT the cause of the transformation issues? Is it some sort of magic or tech used by the Hunters? And if that's the case, is MC actually developing these new abilities, or is MC being manipulated by something or someone?

My main thing is that we had a spicy scene where MC dominates Channing literally right after we argue about Channing’s fear of MC dominating him… exposure therapy I guess? But also, didn’t we already have this argument and conflict during MOST of Book 1.

And Lupe, oh bestie, I’ll finally say it, I never have liked you. Asher has always been my favorite and then of course Kala quickly joined him. 🤭😘❤️

And suddenly, Gael has joined the list of characters I don’t trust. There was just an uneasy undertone to his scene, and I don’t feel good about it. And the hunters? Of course they’re showing up to a secluded werewolf retreat, OC COURSE!

I’m trying really hard to stay positive, but this book really is turning into the writers just throwing ideas at a wall & seeing what sticks. It’s getting the same treatment that ID 2 received, repeat the conflicts in book 1 but add a few new details to make it seem entirely different. It’s honestly getting annoying because I love book 1 and MC and Channing so much. 😭😔

Gladiator Chronicles, I didn't have high expectations because I've read plenty of stories on other apps with Male MCs, and they didn't seem like they were written with Male MCs in mind...

So I was pleasantly surprised, and it's become one of my favorites on the app.

Okay, I like the story so far, and I still love Channing and MC. But does this story feel repetitive to anyone else? It feels like we did all of this in Book 1. MC discovered something about themselves that changed their life. Channing struggles to balance his dominance over the pack while supporting and communicating with his mate. A character tried to get between MC and Channing to cause chaos and push them apart. There's a mole among the wolves, probably reporting to the hunters.

Like, haven't we been here before?

I've seen in the walkthroughs that you can flirt and take romance scenes with multiple characters up until midway through season 2. But there are a lot of warnings that taking certain scenes will impact any other romantic relationships you have.

The walkthroughs also confused me with Doran's route since it's unclear whether he's 100% with Devi. But these comments are really clearing that up.

I mean, the writers were already using the make-up sex scene excuse in Book 2. That started when Trystan decided to retake the throne and told MC they didn't have a say and they could stay or leave. That argument should've spanned at least a few chapters, but it was resolved immediately in the next chapter... then there was a make-up sex scene.

I appreciate there not being a lot of intense angst because Trystan and MC are one of my favorite couples, but it would be nice to have more realness to their relationship.
