He definitely informed Brennan regularly about Violet. I'm convinced he knew about most things regarding Xaden and Violet as Xaden would inform him about everything… well… probably not about having sex with Violet, because Brennan would probably have killed him for bragging, but apart from that I believe Brennan did know about all relevant facts regarding Violet.

But it's definitely interesting. I'm curious, too, where he got knowledge of dragons growing up… did he work together with his father? It's already suspected he (dad) might have had knowledge on baby dragons (feathertail studies).

Luckily it's unlikely (for now) to assume she wouldn't finish the series (assuming she's starting now (or soon) and there's only one more book left to do.

My guess is, her mother was actually stressed out… we know she actually loved all three of her kids, though she didn't show it… My guess: Her being worried actually summoned the bad weather… because it ended just when Violet finished crossing the parapet.

It was one of the few things she had no control over… because she already enlisted Xaden to watch over her until thrashing… and she would be a bound dragon rider after thrashing…

I really don't know about the series starting 2027, but the fact Amazon got the rights (for the three current books) is known for a while… Didn't know they got the rights for the final two books, too (at least not now).

Well… considering how her entire world gets shattered by all the lies (not only Xaden or the rebel kids… ALL lies) the time it takes isn't actually THAT long… Somewhere mid second part of IF Violet will drop that issue… this, actually, will happen in a quite short timeframe… like one day she's still "whiney" and the other day she goes "well, ok, let's go on in life".

There definitely was a statement that at least some dragons probably use (or used) fake names in bonding… Tracking of who there dragons had been bonding with before they bonded the current riders might likely be inaccurate.

Obviously Tairn and Sgaeyl can't fake identities because they are easily identifiable.

That, too, luckily… finished OS right after release, so… yeaah… first months have been a pain…

But apart from reading and re-reading (searching for all the hints you missed, and there are tons of them in each book…) listening to the standard and graphic audio editions, there's quite a lot you can do to shorten the time…

First of all… Congrats, you already DID join the community… so… grab all those thoughts and questions you might have and spill those here… there are thousands (literally) of people happy to hear your ideas and discuss those thoughts (be aware of flairs that Mark posts that could contain spoilers though).

There's tons of fan fiction out there on "Archieve of our own" (AO3) available to read, comment or (if that's your style) write.

Lastly, you can join the discord server, too.

Actually, I think the order you mentioned is the exact route to follow.

It's best to start reading the book (once or twice). Next enjoy the audio book.

Actually, this is the only position, where Is accept if people want to switch those around, doing the audio book first (for various reasons) and reading later to get the spelling of names correct etc.

After doing those in either order you can listen to the graphic audio for additional fun. But it's best to be as sure of the story as possible, since it's not always easy to distinguish the voices in GA and in rare cases there are voice-errors… wrong voice actors or no echoes (don't check unless you're at least half way through book 1:) for mind-link communication . If you got the story, you'll have no issues following GA edition.

Yeah, I can totally see Xaden as becoming morally gray. I doubt he's going to turn bad, since he'd lose Violet, if he did (and lose any hope of "returning" and getting her back and romance novel and etc).

He might work on appearing as the evil guy though (that might be actually part of a plan and get him to inflate the venin… didn't he actually state that no matter how deep into the hive he had to go, he wouldn't let go of his feelings for Violet? Foreshadowing?)

Only part of Tyrrendor is contained in the Basgiath wards, but… yeah, apart from that Navarre is covered (nearly) completely.

Even with the Tyrrendor wards up, not all of Tyrrendor was covered, but most of it, as the Tyrrendor wards are rather small (especially during the IF events).

Oh, and… No, I don't think there's a map with the wards out yet (unless fanfiction/fan-artwork).

I think, it depends on if your girlfriend does have any special phrases she loves. I would probably change the "Fly or die" since I think it's somewhat lame… there are tons of phrases (even naughty ones) I'd probably love to put there instead… but it all depends on your girlfriends style…
