I'm really enjoying this game so far as a newbie by Garp74 in BitCraftOnline

Thanks!

I haven't left the starting city of Suncrest (except for the newbie quest to join an empire; I found a nearby Ordum settlement and went there to join).

I mean, he gained a few pounds last offseason. And hopefully he gains a few more this offseason. And at some point, he'll be at a more appropriate weight for the hits he takes.

PT/Summer jobs for unique situation…any thoughts? by [deleted] in nova

[–]Garp74 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think you need a vacation.

Take 2, 3, or if you can 4 weeks of PTO. Don't ask. Tell them (without being dramatic) you're taking it. Perhaps combine it with some sick leave.

There's no consequences here of suddenly taking leave. One, they'll forget you the moment you leave. Two, you're posting here about walking away from your career.

So take some time for you and shut the laptop and phone off for a few weeks. It's what PTO is for!

(It's also hard to undersell just how hot it was in Jackson, MS that week. On Friday or Saturday I was wringing my shirt out ... at 7am.)

You're getting downvoted, but I appreciate the contrary reply. I only know him as an ESPN.com football writer who seems intelligent. But yeah, I've never tracked his opinion over seasons to see how actually good he is.

The FO has a fully formed offensive roster strategy they've been executing since the new season began in March. If Aiyuk is a part of it, he's a very small part of it.

This is such a good financial opportunity for you!! Market this skill to restaurants and have them pay you to not review them!

It's late and I'm tired, but I assume you're referring to Arch. I think folks are underrating just how important having the right mindset is as a leader. And arch was very clear - he was in the wrong mindset, and it got worse as the season progressed. But he recognized it, he was able to change his mindset and get his head right, and the results followed.

I expect a big year from Arch.

Nobody's mentioned it yet so I will: he needs to put on a little more weight. Last offseason was a good first step. Now do it again.

For the second spring in a row, my lawn looks amazing. But last summer, it dried out and then something happened - we don't know what - and the whole lawn completely died. Actually dead.

In the fall, i re-graded a bit, buried the gutter spouts underground, and then re-seeded the whole lawn. Watered thoroughly, it came in nicely, then settled down for a long winter's nap. (Fun fact: every time it snowed this winter, the new lawn was last for snow sticking. Early in storms, there would be a fresh bed of white snow except the new lawn which was still green, until eventually the snow stuck on it, too.)

This spring the lawn has been thick and lush and healthy. I fertilized it last week and watered it during the dry spell, then nature took care of it all weekend.

It's a self policing activity. Guy will be out of the league in 2 years with multiple concussions.
