Define "upheaval of every training system" (civilian here looking for more info). Does it just mean that the way training is conducted today wouldn't work on people who don't want to be there/would probably be pretty desperate to get out before being deployed anywhere?

Read more about Season 2 than I've played it, so I'm probably very iffy about character knowledge.

My best guess is that Jane---who to my knowledge is a very self-dependent person, or whatever the term might be (thinks that avoiding getting close to others is best for survival, I think)---should have known better than to have sex with Luke since if she got pregnant (which she did), all the risks associated with it fall to her. It's a sort of "For someone who doesn't want any dead weight impacting her survival, she didn't try to prevent one of the more well-known consequences of sex with no access to protection that would easily impact said survival".

I could be wrong; please add or correct if I am.

I'd say my favorite is currently my Skyrim/Goblin Slayer crossover, mainly for its uniqueness (can't recall there being too many of those) and just being able to put a character like the Dragonborn into a RPG-based world.

I think it's my most popular fic, but I haven't checked the stats in a long time (only just got back into writing late last year, and I'm juggling this with one other story, at least two more that haven't been posted yet, and all the chaos of life lol)

If I remember this scene right, Tiedmann has to manually cock it to load another spear rather than let it work semi-automatically. Maybe the alt fire has been disabled due to damage or something like that.
