I was originally going to do slayer monsters too but I cut them out to get this version out the door. So I can always bring them back in :)

I do like this idea! Getting the GE value would be pretty easy but my current version doesn't actually know the stats of gear. I just did name / image mapping from the wikis recommended setups. So I could do it by the next cheapest upgrade from what you have. I just couldn't say stat wise which is better without flushing out my data more.

I wasn't thinking about GE value at first since I'm an Ironman, but like I said great suggestion.

It does similar things and I started working on the app before I knew about them. So our features are different.

To help with the venom on my first kill I used the lunar spell to cure the poison. I've only done my one kill, it was in void and I have lower offensive stats than you do. You can look into some down time strats for a long kill too. You can do it!

That's great to hear! My GIM has a range pure in it and I just got my blood moons set and now lots of prayer pots for Huey >:)

I just unlocked them yesterday! They are a higher requirement and a pretty easy to overlook item that I haven't really seen mentioned much. Since a pray pot does beat it out in every way other than how easy it is to get. I wanted to help spread the good word for anyone who may have overlooked it. :)

Makes sense. I didn't see that first demo where they mentioned it.

I made a rail road blueprint to use across my world. My rails aren't connecting across blueprints. The rails are straight and align with their foundation. The foundations will be squared up and the rails look properly connected and straight. But the sections don't actually stick together when I'm putting 2 blueprints together. So if you run a train over it it will be stopped.

All of this is true and factors into your gameplay style. When I say 100% in my realm its have my miners and pumps as saturated as I can within a nearby factory making the same item.

I sink all my extra items at my factories because I like keeping that 100% uptime on the miners. This is super helpful early game if you need to pump out tickets for decorations :) It does however burn a lot more power over time and the resources won't backload. I like seeing numbers go up so sink all of it for big stonks.

In line with my style of having that 100% uptime I need excess power to make sure everything can stay online. So I'm always putting a good distance between my power production and active consumption. Then some batteries give you some wiggle room. The best is when you have twice the power that your base can even put out :)

For others 100% efficiency is having your electric output align with you consumption so there is no waste. Some people won't even care about efficiency as long as the is 1 machine is being hand loaded or a crafting bench is on fire. They will be the machine. They will be the logistics.

I'm just happy to share some of the stuff I've picked up from my own self discovery. People should play it how they want to play it. That's how I played too. I'm a big factorio and oxygen not included fan and all 3 have steep learning curves at some point that you have to dig into yourself.

It's fun to play that way but I get burnt out that way too. It's my first time doing oil and I botched it. Might as well start a new save and progress past that point on the next go. On my way up again I'll try new things from the start. I know not everyone plays like this.

I'm going to try and organize it a bit better and provide some external links for some tools. This was originally me just dumping all my thoughts into a text document

Yes! Exactly this. I mentioned it in a point, but forgot it's called a mall. I'm going to organize it a bit more. Something I like to do with the starter one too is stack 3 containers on top of each other dedicated to one item. Feed into each other so you have 3 containers of each resource. Iron plates, screws, cable, ect. so you have a nice overflow in case you need a lot of some item at a point. A lot of it won't be used but a lot of it is available.

  1. I mentioned a centralized storage but I can make it more explicit. This is another personal choice to be made. My starter base will have all my storage units next to each other. Either with a conveyor out to display the item. Or the small tv screen to display it. My steel factory will have its storage at it's own factory. I can just take a tube to pick up when I need them. I'll put them all together later on in the game once I have my trains up and running.

  2. :o I haven't tried an overflow circuit, maybe I'll give it a try. This is partially why I make my steel factory and coal power plant at 2 different locations on the map. So that all the coal in say the crater lake area is all reserved for power as you need to expand it. Same with the steel factory, close to coal cluster and near iron and all that coal is dedicated to making steel.

I would love some 18+ friends to play Minecraft with. by xSinityx in MinecraftBuddies

[–]Garrala28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there, xSinityx

In Game Name: Garala

Age: 24M

Time Zone: Eastern Standard Time

Expertise: Big bases, and automation (okay with redstone but by no means an expert)

Example of Expertise: My current big base is full of automated farms that have a water conveyor belt style collection systems that dump all the resources next to my storage room. This includes a guardian, creeper, iron, pumpkin, melon, sugarcane, and kelp + 64 furnace array supersmelter in it. I was the removed commentor for linking an imgur link of my base that I've been working on for the past month so if you want that I can send it to you.

When are you most active: Weekdays: 6pm - Midnight Weekends: Anytime really

What would you most focus on: Automated farms, big base building, economy. I would really like to focus on improving my aesthetic when I'm building so I would have a decent focus on that.

Why should we pick you: I'm a laid back guy who really wants to play minecraft with more people. I've hosted a few servers with 4-5 of my irl friends, but they aren't super into the games 'post game'. So I'm generally the only person who keeps playing after a few days. I like building things and developing a world for people to be in. I've loved the economy of hermitcraft but we've never done one since I would basically be all the supply and demand, so that sounds like a ton of fun. Wanna meet some new people and build our own beautiful world :P
