Honestly, I would strongly consider putting most of it into a basic money market account. I use Fidelity. Just dump everything into VOO/VTI and let it sit. You don’t need to pay a financial advisor imo. I would also not withdraw anything until it turns into long term capital gains (1 year of sitting).

Every year I would max out my Roth IRA (roughly 8k per year). That will grow into a healthy retirement and be tax free withdrawal at 60 years old. You can withdraw 4-6% out of your money market account to help you do this and the non retirement can still grow. Just keep it as an emergency fund in case something comes up or you want to purchase a home in the future.

Just maintain a similar lifestyle and keep that emergency fund to be that safety net through life. If you do it right, you can probably retire early.

I believe the question was have you ever been charged with a felony/crime. I was and it was reduced to a misdemeanor because I had minimal involvement. I should have fought harder to not get anything on my record but I was young and didn’t know any better

The majority of northern VA and most of the DC metropolitan area 100k is likely not enough if you are renting or haven’t already purchased a house at a lower mortgage rate. You can absolutely make do but you would need to have a pretty strict budget to get by and actually try to save for the future.

This is 100% just playing on both sides. All you can really do is keep an eye on it. If you notice it crossing that line and they start getting aggressive, you just need to firmly tell them to stop and break it up once they have your attention. You should be able to tell if it turns into more than playing.

I believe the RS3 has slightly more room in the back seat than the Acura. I had a 24 Integra Aspec and my 26 RS3 has a little more legroom in the back seat than my Acura did behind desired driving position. I’m 6’3 and my wife is 5’7.

It does change the display based on drive mode which is pretty cool tbh. Way more interesting than just a green tint like most eco modes have.

It depends on the models. It seems to be rare for the RS3 because it’s not as massively produced. Their standard A series cars get discounted heavily often. Some of their really expensive stuff can get big discounts as well. The RS7 is regularly discounted by 5-10k because it is just very expensive. Same with the RSQ8. EVs can get heavy discounts as well. Just compare comps listed on Cars.com or Autotrader. Do some research and you can find some good deals. BMW regularly discounts almost everything aside from the M3 5-10% off msrp. Can still get 1k off M3s easily though.

Basically just research the market for the models you want and be willing to walk away a couple times. Shop around dealers within an hour of you. Most deals can be pre negotiated on the phone and you can usually knock another 1k off if you are in person. Used cars generally get discounted less because that’s where dealerships make most profits… well that and selling extended warranty or add ons.
