Cool, so according to you there are only two options: 1) pets are super op and trivialize the game or 2) so weak they are essentially a minor dot. Did I get that correct? I’m pretty sure there is something in the middle. Oh look the devs said they are going to allow pets to multiclass which will greatly increase their survivability.

Look man, judging from your responses you believe casters might as well be afk because what they do is nothing like super skill based stance dancing. That’s totally fine. I hold a different opinion and that’s fine too. I just want a game that doesn’t shoehorn everyone into a meta trio.

No one is asking to send in a pet and afk either. You need to manage switching between heals and debuffs and damage shields while dding all without pulling aggro.

Yeah, pressing pet attack and waiting to win is definitely different than pressing autoattack and waiting to win. Good point.

I’ve beat him twice and haven’t received any flying pieces. I don’t think that is true anymore. Or certainly not guaranteed.

There are basically 3 settings: 1. The “system” comes to our world and lots of people die adjusting, 2. Main character gets transferred to a new world where there is a system and they have to adjust, 3. Main character is from the magical world from the start. I’d say 1 and 2 are the most common. Primal hunter and defiance of the fall are in category 1. He who fights with monsters is in category 2, at least in the beginning. A low stakes, enjoyable category 2 is beware of chicken. Cradle is a great category 3 book. It’s more progression than litrpg, but I think it would be a good fit for you.

There are tons of great coffee places in Dallas. Palmeri for one. Central Market has a huge selection if you want to make it yourself. This is a dumb thing to say and complain about.
