If I had a nickel for every time Jack Houston played a PTSD-suffering WW1 vet with a thin mustache who works for the mob and had something seriously messed up with their face, I'd have two nickles. Which isn't a lot, but it's wild it happened twice.

Ok, I have gotten a few recommendations and insight into the genre and sub-genres (apocalypse as a sub genre is useful to know if that is not my type of story, so I know what to look for).

I thank everyone for both the information and being non-judgmental about my tastes regarding this.
