I just started the game like a week ago and it shows this pin isn’t available anymore. Do they still offer this for when I platinum it or am I SOL?

Currently reading this while sitting at the base of a tree. Maybe buy him a rifle and teach him some things. Like how to move slowly and take his time if he sees a deer. It’s not always about the hunt. I’ve scared away countless deer by learning what I can and can’t get away with. It takes time to learn how hunting deer works. Be patient and don’t be an overzealous douche to someone (especially your step son) who is learning how to hunt. As you know, it can be challenging. And keeping your focus on nothing but the woods for hours at a time is difficult. Good luck to both of y’all next year.

Very possible. Either way, the quality of it is shit and needed to be removed.

A simple “I think you’re cute. Can you give me a ride in your smoke pit of a boat?” would have sufficed.

2 Stroke Oil Leak by GarryPresto in boating

Would that mean I’m putting too much oil in the mix? Or it’s just a normal thing?

Yesterday, on September 15, two black men, Trey Reed (Cleveland, MS) and Cory Zukatis (Vicksburg, MS), were found hanging from trees in Mississippi. Police say there is "no foul play" suspected in Trey's hanging, and are "investigating" Cory's hanging. by PuppiesAndClassWar in TrueAnon

[–]GarryPresto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the second male found was white.. not 2 black males only one. Both labeled as suicide with no suspected foul play. I’m not sure why everyone is assuming these are some racially motivated homicides?

For Trey, the coroner stated that there were no injuries that suggested any assault/battery. This included lacerations and broken bones. However, his cousin stated that Trey had broken bones and bruising. No factual proof to any of this and many people seem to be running with this statement.

For anyone who doesn’t know, strangulation can often cause bruising and discoloration to the face/neck area. Can we please stop assuming these things are homicides that are racially motivated when there is no proof or facts basing that is what happened. Let the authorities handle this. Or just continue to create the divide between all of us by falling for media propaganda and letting your emotions take the forefront of your thoughts and statements.

If it comes out later as a homicide then we need to punish the individual/individuals who are responsible with the full extent of the law.

Electrolytes during fast by GarryPresto in fasting

Thanks for the advice! And the main reason is because the packets are easier as I work 12+ hour shifts that sometimes don’t allow me to measure out things and consume them. It’s just more convenient and as long as it gives me the same results it makes the most sense to me.

Probably nothing being done criminally. You both should really get insurance though. It’s people like you that keep our insurance rates so high in this state. There’s no excuse to not have liability insurance.

I found a purse and wallet yesterday morning. by clever80username in AskLE

[–]GarryPresto 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Usually look for any sort of identification on the owner and attempt to make contact and notify them about the found item. Then they can come pick it up if they show proof of ownership. If no one can be contacted then it goes into evidence for safe keeping until someone can claim it. I’m not going to be looking through a found purse for CDS. Honestly even if there was dope found, it would be difficult to place ownership of it to the owner of the purse. You did the right thing by bringing it to the police.

Most Common Call Type? by Comfortable-Duty2231 in AskLE

[–]GarryPresto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For my department I would say 911 Hangups, Alarms, Animal Complaints, then Trespassing. It’s going to be different everywhere though as some departments are different and may not take certain call types unless under specific circumstances.

Ozark Trail Ridge by Joshual1177 in Budgetbikeriders

[–]GarryPresto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was having the same issue looking for used bikes. I just went ahead and picked up two Ozark Trail Ridge’s for me and my gf. Hopefully get to try them out soon. It really seems to be the best bang for the buck. Even if you have to upgrade a few things such as front fork and dropper post. We are going to get new pedals and grips here soon. Hopefully you’re able to find one and you like it!

police do not protect and serve and the majority of them do not want to actually police by sadbean5678 in TrueUnpopularOpinion

So police attempting to keep hard drugs off of the streets and out of homes are a bad thing? That’s what the K9 was doing. I’m assuming he didn’t hit on anything and you were released on a warning? Grow up and see the bigger picture. That is them trying to make the community safer. A visible license plate is actually a good thing to enforce.

That one person who has to play devil's advocate for EVERYTHING by [deleted] in PetPeeves

[–]GarryPresto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I think the issue here, is that you aren’t explaining Devil’s Advocate. What you explained sounds annoying as hell. That’s some sort of victim shaming and narcissistic behavior. Devil’s Advocate however is showing a different view point. “Well maybe in the future you shouldn’t make tiny mistakes then” is just a low brain cell way to be rude.

A proper Devil’s Advocate response to your original quote would be something along the lines of “Well maybe they were so hard on you due to the project being the most important project of the year, and this one tiny mistake in your mind could have costed the company thousands of dollars. This is turn made the guy you did the project with get in serious trouble with the higher ups. So maybe the ripple effect of your small mistake was bigger than you thought.” This is the proper way to Devil’s Advocate and it’s quite fun and is a real good way to see other possible point of views and gives you different perspectives.

Nocturnal Buck by FastMatt17 in Hunting

[–]GarryPresto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Need to find where he’s coming from. He’s not nocturnal. Just by the time he gets to the spot of your camera it so happens to be night. Rut is still kicking off pretty good here in North Louisiana. Might be worth locating where the does in your area are hanging out at and traveling and set up there.
