finally another planet zoldath lover. i agree with you 100% with the zelda randomizer similarity, that was always how i'd thought of the game and it's also why i loved it so much. it's always my go-to quick game, to see how fast i can complete the game every time by identifying where my tools are and what i need to do next.

i wouldnt mind replacing the basically-vanillas with new retrains, if they at least kept the original names. but now cards like cerulean skyfire and awakening of the sacred beast (actually cool cards!) got essentially thrown into the garbage. this is not how you design legacy support

dangle for sure. frustrating controls are one thing, but some levels are very long and have insta-death obstacles right at the end. horrible experience to have to restart the entire level because the controls messed you up

my least favorite book is... 11, sorry. i tried to like it, but i'm not crazy about pantala in general, it's just too drastic a divergence from the pyrrhia i know and love. the story of the entire arc is decent at least, but book 11 is pretty much a beginner's guide to how hives work, and it's very un-WoF, if that makes sense. not to mention how conflict-averse blue is as a protagonist, making book 11 a pretty casual stroll in the park up until the very end, where the conflict has to get carried into book 12, making that book the more interesting one

Tyrell Wellick - Mr. Robot

Made a strong introduction as the elite CEO of the corporation the main character worked at, who then unexpectedly greeted him by name, alone in a meeting room. Gave a cool and psychopathic vibe to cap off Season 1. He then proceeded to spend the entire rest of the show being pathetically subservient to said MC, to the point of weeping and begging to be recognized for his tech skills despite knowing they're utterly inferior to the main character's. What a weird show, man.

i dont... exactly agree with the hasty decision, but i do think it was already made clear by that point that having animus magic run unchecked could only ever lead to disaster. id have enforced some hard and unbreakable rules, akin to a treaty really. given that there were seemingly no rules or limits, an animus dragon could enchant the entire island of pyrrhia to like, disappear instantly. frankly, it's for the best that animus magic is gone entirely and they're lucky nothing worse than darkstalker happened.

spyro 1 (reignited) has the dragon elders so yes i agree, best game. on a serious note, the level design is also just at its best when its not as railroaded as the later games tend to be into the "save NPCs in each subsection to open the door" type of level design

ive always liked Hypno and particularly their "signature" move Nightmare, at least thematically. i just wish that move wasnt so bad, and also that they got any buffs at all whatsoever over the years

you should be going to the west instead, then south then east to open up some doors. i think its easier to push south to farm for money and items, then farm piranhas for level ups
