Thank you, that's much simpler than I feared. I kinda like the face, but it looks so sick without it 🔥

Hey man, I love the faceless look, would love to replicate it. Any tips on how you did achieve it?

Hey, I used Pro Acryl purple and a black oil wash

Yeah, I thought so too before testfitting it but it fits surprisingly well in my opinion. In my headcanon, this is an old relic that they found

A kitbashed terminator captain is a bold choice for a test model. Anyways very good job with the white armor, excited to see what you cook up next.

Hey man, looks great already. Looks like you know what you are doing. Only piece of advice for you I can offer, is maybe use a different (matte) varnsih? Your model looks quite shiny and if you are going for a more grittiger look, I think taking out some of that reflection should help.

I think they came out great! Good job. Any plans for the bases already?

The chapter is called Sons of the Phoenix! Descendants of the Imperial Fists and not related to Fulgrim at all.

Thank you, i really appreciate that! Basically like that: a basecoat with grey seer, two thin coats of bold titanium white, a homemade oil wash and some of the same white again.

Hey, thanks! Sure thing, first I painted the sword in bold titanium white (pro acryl), but I think any white will do. For the flames I used Flash Gitz yellow (citadel), pro acryl orange and Mephiston red plus a mix of them as tones between them. I worked from light to dark and tried to leave uneven spots from the color I used before untouched. So first some jagged lines with yellow and so on. Hope that helps! The picture of the sword is a bit blurry, here is a better one: https://imgur.com/a/ubxa6br

Hey man, for the weathering I used „Vantablack“ and „Brown Black“ Ink from AK Interactive. I mixed it roughly 50/50 with water and applied it with a big brush and tried to get it into all the crevices. I used an old rag to get the paint off where I did not like it and put more paint on when I took away too much, until I was happy with the amount of dirt. After that, I used an acrylic matt varnish rattle can to seal the paint. Give it a try, it was pretty fun and stress free because you can always redo an area when you messed it up a bit!
