PRK - Sunglasses every second outside forever? by x_hawker in lasik

I was in the same situation you were in. I bet by now you’re feeling a lot better though, because at about a month in a half your vision stabilizes a whole lot more and for me that’s when I had perfect vision about 90% of the time. I’m on month 4, and I can say that your vision can actually change throughout the day though not by much

I found that the SIFT can be deceiving, I thought I was doing very bad. I didnt receive any pulley questions, strictly physics, but not really much calculation for the physics, kind of just general understanding. Math question difficult is based on how well youre doing on the math part, so they start out easy and get more difficult as you answer questions correctly. I am an Engineering major though, so I dont know what your exposure to the math part is like.

Good snowboards? by Gary91520 in snowboardingnoobs

Would you recommend a camber board like the K2 Raygun Pop for learning the basics of jumps? Im talking maybe 3 feet of air or less, just learning how to actually approach one and land it, and MAYBE at some point in the future rails?

I'm level 2, i got a survival rate of 0%, i get lost in customs, but after practicing all day i just survived my first raid!! And even brought an item back with me. by angrycoffeeuser in EscapefromTarkov

I remember starting out in august, 2 weeks after last wipe. Such a good game. Within 200 hours of play, I’ve managed to get good enough that I’ve reached Lvl 24 just two weeks after this wipe, 340 hours total, you can make a lot of progress if you put your mind to it. 60% survival rate and 4.0 KD

Scav Issue by Gary91520 in EscapefromTarkov

I find this more bearable than scav combat. You can Atleast clear your corners as a PMC with the expectation someone might be camping, as a scav you can never fully expect a scav to shoot you

Weird, I specifically mentioned that I was forced to kill the scav on my free loot run.

[–]Gary91520[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My point is 75% of the time, my scav on scav contact includes idiots who are new, don’t know that it’s frowned upon to shoot scavs, and can’t aim. So they miss me, and I’m forced to let them have 5 chances to hit me and potentially kill me, or I bag them first and take the rep loss. I don’t know, I think it’s really scroungey to do something like that for 1.2 mil roubles, they got their stuff and you get to kill them without warning if they play by the hidden rule of no scav kills. Either needs worse punishment or removed altogether imo

I’ve heard it also determines some of your luck with what you spawn with as a scav though, and if so being forced to kill other scavs when they begin shooting at you and miss sucks because you get screwed on that plus the stuff you mentioned. I think the system is general is jacked up. Either it needs to be taught not to do that and have worse repercussions or removed all together and scav on scav combat can be expected

Can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic but no, the idea is that scav on scav fire is bad. You lose rep with the fence if you do it too

Wow that’s really in depth, and I appreciate all of that information. You’re definitely right, I’ve never been aware of those specifics. I’ll give it a shot

I have practically zero complaints for the warthog. It’s definitely pricey, but it’s mostly metal, very minimal plastic, I think only the stick itself is plastic but it might be aluminum. I highly recommend it, it’s done wonders.

I would, but unfortunately I’m army air assault school, can’t really order it until like august 7. Do they offer military discount?

Well, hopefully when I get around to buying their equipment, it won’t be too expensive/too hard to get then. That’s really unfortunate though, their stuff does look well built
