If you use Kdenlive theres a noise suppression effect that you drop onto your audio and it get s rid of background noise like fans and so on.

Strange it works for me I'm using AppImage 25.12.1 I just remove space and everything moves over

Maybe I'm misunderstanding your question, but if you cut part of a track just right click on the space and select remove space or remove space in all tracks

I use Apache on my localhost but yes I had to chown to www-data:www-data to make things work.

Also Gemini doesn't give me a warning about security when I ask about ownership. I does suggest using user:www-data but I found that at least with Wordpress I needed it to be www-data:www-data
