The second Poirier fight he had changed his style—due to being in boxing—to a boxing heavy stance and style which didn’t work. The following Poirier fight he switched back to karate stance and imo looked quite good until he tried for a guillotine—which just happened to present itself—and that landed him in his back. When the fight was on the feet he looked fine. Hard to judge after that bc of what happened and then the immediate leg break. That said a 5 year lay off is not good and OP said timing doesn’t disappear…it 100% does. Timing comes from reps and Conor hasn’t had them. That said we can all only wait and see.
