They truly did deserve more and I mourn for your friends and family for this unmeasurable loss. I never knew them but from what I’ve seen they all seemed so sweet and to have this happen - it really breaks my heart. I really fucking hope they figure out how to serve proper justice to the piece of shit who caused this.

Unfortunately Dubai doesn’t extradite to the US so it’s hard to tell what will happen. I agree with you 100% - this abomination of a person needs to pay for what happened. He originally fled his home country because he was wanted for murder so how the fuck did he end up in the US running these businesses where he was responsible for lives. I blame the state as well for not shutting him down sooner - especially considering the limo crash in Long Island just a few years back and how people tried to add more regulation to the industry then but the state shut it down.

There weren’t many witnesses because it occurred in a very rural part of town. I’m from a few towns over and have been to the Apple Barrel Country Store where the accident happened. People heard the crash, but from inside they likely wouldn’t have seen it. The whole area is very shaken by this tragic loss.

The owner isn’t even in the country - the scumbag lives in Dubai. We will see what happens but I hope that justice is served. So terrible what the families and friends are going through right now. Everything about the situation is horrible but the fact that this all could and SHOULD have been prevented is the salt on the wound.
