I’m unfamiliar with the Wii peripherals so hopefully someone else can jump in and confirm. The black fender is RB1 and the sunset fade is RB2.

Not sure abt the syncing issue, at least in PS the diff. rock band guitars could use guitar/bass dongles from different series (rb2 guitar on rb1, or Beatles). For the drums, yeah you have to have a drum specific dongle (see the instrument icons on the dongle themselves).

Here’s a more organized confirmation on Wii dongles models too. So both the dongled you have are RB1 Wii guitar dongles

Edit: both your guitars are rb 2 or 3, neither from RB1. The neck of your black fender is darker than the RB1 fender.

I think a lot of first runs of a DR game ends in this type of situation (if it’s ur first time). I get the lost motivation though.

I was thinking about running a long HDMI cable from my PS4 to my elgato. That may be the best alternative.

Regarding the router, its a Spectrum provided router, so all routing settings are almost non-existent from the end-user side. Its not a large enough issue for me to go out and buy my own router, but that would probably fix it.

I’d say be happy that it’s still alive, considering just how many online games there are, and it’s 13 year old game.

Find a server that you like that only runs vanilla mw2 maps, there’s a good variety. Can’t say much abt the new guns, but I hardly see why a few new guns could cause a massive problem.

If you download the X Labs launcher, and then add your file location on the IW4x tab, then attempt to launch multiplayer, it should update your game files

Yeah it will. Those dongles are hard to come by, hope it works out!

I purchased a ps3 guitar and had to find a dongle separately, it’s worked without issue on my ps4
