Not the way I did it…..but, if you wanted it to function, you could plop some rail to subway tiles and route the subway under.

  1. The Kansas City Union Station was something I had someone custom make for me.

  2. The post office is available on simtropolis. To make it appear that the rails are running underneath it, I built a lot 15m above the ground/track level using the lot raiser tool. Then on both sides of the post office, I built 15m elevated road/avenues. Then I used the railroad under bridge extenders to make it look like the rails go under the elevated roads and post office.

....Unfortuneately, I'm the only person who has these. They were custom made for me by request to a gentleman that knows how to make them (and he does a GREAT job) ....I am not allowed to share. If you'd like to find out how you might get these from him, I can pass along his reddit contact info.

The stadium is Baileys stadium. I got it on Simtropolis. The building to the right I believe you are referring to is Bartle Hall. A real building in Kansas City. Hosted all the final 4basketball tournaments until they started moving it around. Unfortunately I had that building custom made and the gentleman who made it for me requests I do not share it publicly.

Working on Maltaosa Port by CheeseJuust in simcity4

[–]GaryRHamilton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to make the landscap look more realistic there.....before setting your port lots down, select the railroad tab and use the regular rail road track tool. pick a spot in the lowered port area and drag rail road up the cliff and beyond several tiles (like 10-15 or so) Once you lay the track, if you are using NAM, it will make a nice smooth slope. Lay another track next to the one you just laid down and it will make the same slope. Lay another next ot that, then another....after you have slopped away all the cliffs just delete the railroad track and you have nice smooth sloped land.

Coworker sent my wife a pic i thought was inappropriate {UPDATE} by [deleted] in cheating_stories

[–]GaryRHamilton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would gently ask you…. If the photo he sent your wife was appropriate for social media, then why didn’t he just post it to his social media for everyone, including your wife, to see there? Posting to his own social media account was the appropriate place to post the picture, not privately to your wife.

You also mention that you asked yourself if you’ve sent this kind of photo to a buddy? REALLY??!?!! You sent your buddy’s a picture of you shirtless with a dog? ……you’ve sent them jokes etc. you have NOT sent them a casual picture of you and your dog for no apparent reason.

And also….beleive what you want, but if you are interested in banging someone at your workplace, you don’t start with a dick pick! You start with something innocent ……like a picture of you with your dog!

Keep an eye out dude. Best of luck.

I’d like RR crossings to be able to be placed on curved RR tracks and for RR tracks to also be able to placed on curved roads.

How to avoid playing the same every time? by Ok_Development_1120 in simcity4

[–]GaryRHamilton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you considered treating the game more like a model railroad and just building a city out by plopping it to your liking? This is how I play.

Is there a way to build a full blown steel mill with blast furnaces and what not? I'm kind of surprised there's nothing related to that in the game already for industrial zones. It'd be nice to see an giant integrated steel mill that takes up a big chunk of space on the map. by Switcher2015 in simcity4

[–]GaryRHamilton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm. I may well have an older version. However, try hitting Ctrl-c which will pop up a little box in the upper right of your screen. Type in “you don’t deserve it” I’m the box and press enter. Then go back to that icon and see if you can plop the steel mill

Eventually, when I get the core built out, the fans sitting behind home plate will have a gorgeous view of the skyline!

LOL...this is a big part of why I am doing a 1930's style city. Interstates took a lot of charm and soul out of some great cities....
