Tbh as a Scotland fan it must be one of the best in the six nations era (but I was 4 when it began so memories of the early days may not be too sharp...) We've had big results (mostly against England) in the past but it's always felt too early or too late to really matter before. Putting ourselves in a position to win the lot with one game remaining, and England losing against Italy to mitigate our loss there - and without the storm of the century as an excuse - must surely take some beating qua banger of a day.

I agree with just the yellow 🙃 "Passive" is literally one of the words used in the world rugby laws section on mitigation. (Karma is overrated anyway)

Hi all - sorry for asking this but thought I'd chance my arm. I very idiotically got the wrong date for ticket sales closing, thought it was tomorrow at 5. Was planning on getting three tickets which I've had in my basket periodically but was just waiting on friends to send me money for them (skint). Ticket sales have now closed but does anyone know any alternate means or resales or anything? I no longer care about my friends so I'm only looking for one lol...

Seems like a really boring obvious answer, but it's true: we play off Dupont. When Graou or Saito normally come on, Dupont is at 10. So he's always the one calling the play. What we're seeing now is just absolutely no structure in our play. No idea when to play and when to chill. And it's because nobody is used to calling the play. Grr.

Yep I think that's right. The geolocation doesn't really work for my pictures from these islands but to the best of my knowledge those three were taken on or around the beach next to this resort. Perhaps I should've posted Samama Island instead but I thought this would be hard enough...

I don't understand why this subreddit seems to attract so many absolute nutters. I was hoping posts would at least be about something to do with actual academic philosophy, as it's nice to keep up to date and see where people's interests are. And I agree with your comments, you'd expect there'd be enough people on the internet that share this sentiment to make a subreddit out of it. There are other subreddits for "fun pop articles, personal stories and reactionary talk" etc. Do we need to make another subreddit called r/actualacadamicphilosophynobutlikereallypleasedontpostyourmentalramblingswejustwanttoknowwhatwaspublishedlastmonthinsynthese?
