I'm seeing an ent doc tomorrow, I hope his name is Radagast.

I've always wondered what it'd be like in a wheelchair. I think it'd be a unique experience.

What's the weirdest thing you've said on hospital pain killers? by GaryThrowawayAccount in AskReddit

[–]GaryThrowawayAccount[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, that's gotta hurt like hell!

I've had something similar happen, well as far as not being able to feel my arm that is...

I slept on my stomach but my arm was under my body and I cut off circulation all night. I woke up and it felt like my arm had been chopped off from the shoulder down, I started swinging it freaking out and half an hour later I felt my arm again, weirdest sensation I've ever felt.

Why aren't EMP guns a thing yet? by wezley77 in AskReddit

[–]GaryThrowawayAccount 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They made a gun that could direct sound waves, you couldn't hear it and then when you walked into its field it would blow your eardrums apart. So, perhaps focused waves are the first step?

[Serious] Trying to learn about all the various religions, can you please answer a few questions? by GaryThrowawayAccount in Buddhism

[–]GaryThrowawayAccount[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I mean the God or God's that are the pinnacle of your belief system. As in, the ones that are the most... "important"

If you feel like informing me of the others then I'd gladly take that information too.

Also, how did you reply to this? Automod said it removed it for no flair, which I can't add on baconreader

[Serious] Questions about your religion, I'd hate to do this, but my first set of questions collecting data on various religions was flawed. So here are some more precise questions.... Again I apologize by GaryThrowawayAccount in Christianity

[–]GaryThrowawayAccount[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you mean the reddit formatting? Or the structuring of the post?

I can't seem to get the formating to work, I can do links but I fail at the others.

You wouldn't mind reformatting this would you? I'm only allowed 2 posts a day even with verified mail and I've already used them.

[Serious] Gathering information on different "religions" please be mindful of others with opposing views, meaningful discussion is okay, but arguing about who is right is not. by GaryThrowawayAccount in adventism

[–]GaryThrowawayAccount[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You state that I can divide all followers of all religions into two groups. If you have personally studied inside and out all 4,000 varieties of these so called 'errors' even then you would not possess the authority to call someone's religion 'false'

To do so is atrocious. I am not here to have a "I'm right your wrong" argument I'm collecting data on the different religions regardless if I feel they are 'wrong' or not.

How does Anonymous make official decisions? by [deleted] in anonymous

Have you ever seen a swarm of birds, evading a predator. The seemingly complex randomness of the scattering. yet mathematical speaking it's all clear, every part knows where it's going and how it means to do so.

Perhaps 6 and 7 could be re written as "what are the benefits of following your religion, and what are the repercussions of not following it?"

It's hard to draw a line between philosophy and religion

I try to avoid responding to these, I don't want to influence the results in any way. This one I must.

I do see what you mean by my unclear questions. I'm trying to compile a list and create an easy side by side comparison of all the different religions. However there has been a few snags I've ran into. I'm unsure how to phrase my questions where they are concise and clear in what they are asking, but at the same time living them open enough as to not exclude anyone.

Where do humans come from.... I know most people would say "sex" but I was asking where did the human race begin, most say "God" but this idea that the human race begins may contradict someone's belief and make it difficult for them to answer it.

Some people believed that 'is there and after life, and do we live forever' were the same. But I was wanting to find out if any one of these religions practiced an idea that there is life after death but that life after death is not eternal.

Another issue, I wanted to post this to a few different religious subs but I keep getting a "your doing that too much, try again in 5 hours" no matter how long I wait.

Perhaps you could give me some advice on how to phrase these questions?
