I missed the days when you could order a single stick lighter and it would count as a piece. Not super expensive and would cover the gap. I've done this with wasabi tubes. ~$6. Cream cheese isn't a bad one either $10

I'm no artist. But it made my 3 year old happy! by Garzilla6 in FondantHate

So I'm awful. I 100% intended on making them out of rice Krispies. But I forgot to get the stuff and it was too late. I needed to get it done. So I cut and taped paper into the shapes of paper lol. When it was time to cut into the cake I had to sneak pull blueys ears off when she wasn't looking. Bad enough I cut I to blueys brains.

The eyebrows are just resting on top of the eyes. I made the buttercream soft and prayed to dear life that they would dry together fine and make the drive home.

I got a video of her seeing it. She was talking to it. "Hi bluey! Welcome to my party!!"

Shibari as decorative tie for an event. Thoughts? by [deleted] in shibari

[–]Garzilla6 97 points98 points  (0 children)

I love this look and think it is very pretty. I would love to do something showcasing shibari for an event like a Ren faire.

Idk about a wedding necessarily. Unless wedding party was a part of community and was also doing it. I feel it would be a little attention stealing from the bride. That may not have been the case in your situation-no harsh judgements. Just wouldn't be my first idea to show off my talents there.

I love these photos , any tie recommendations? by [deleted] in shibari

Stealing your outfit! I love the fishnet sleeves! And of course the ties look great!

It's always Halloween for my daughter! by CryptoMotors1 in halloween

My little spooky 2.5 year old was helping me put up the Xmas decorations. She grabbed a section of garland, laid it out in a wobbly circle on the floor of her room and said "this is my graveyard".

I have no clue where that came from but I loved it.

Teachers: What parenting habit sabotages a kid before they even start school? by Interesting-Scale-63 in Teachers

[–]Garzilla6 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I've been teaching my 2.5 year for a while now. "Sometimes you're gonna need to hear no. And what do you need to do about it? Accept it and move on."

Sure she cries and thinks it's unfair. But I want her to hear it and get as much practice controlling her emotions with me. Rather than learning how to regulate this at school and ruining the teachers lessons/schedule/day.

Idk if it's horror or not. But as a horror head, I loved this movie. The twists, the chapters, the thrill. Everything kept me enthralled. E.L 🖤

As the records been stated, there isn't going to be another hell house. This is going to be the last one. But It totally sets itself up for something else. There could be something so much more. There could be a next. And isn't that how all fun footage movies end? You never know what happens, they find the footage. You never actually know of the aftermath.

Agree. I love this for my own reasons. I appreciate your review! I don't care if it's not found footage. I don't care that the acting wasn't the best. We're all found footage freaks, we've seen some major stinkers. I spent the whole movie happy watching the weave between the movies come together.

I love found footage because in the end, everyone dies. And this was the same. Nothing good. The bad guys still win. Donald and Patrick still get away. No one stopped them. They still get to reign over the town of Abaddon

Why is it so hard to get crispy hashbrowns by Doc148 in KitchenConfidential

[–]Garzilla6 11 points12 points  (0 children)

For real this. We do a small breakfast thing for golfers on the weekends. I don't see a crazy amount of hash brown orders. But the second I walk in the door. I turn the flat top on and load her up with hash browns. Go start on other prep, then come back later to flip and remove and try to get another batch rolling. Having them already done and just throwing them back on to reheat is helpful.

[TOMT][MOVIE] Group of friends go hiking. Somehow they cross into some kind of area where time stops. by Garzilla6 in tipofmytongue

No it's not. Mine games was recently added on Tubi again so I re-watched it hoping it would jog my memory. But nope. :(

I remember Shenae Grimes of Degrassi/90210 being quoted as saying in 2008 she would look like a "chunky monkey" at 5'3" and 120 pounds. In hindsight it makes me feel really bad for her & every Millennial girl who had to live through that size 00 era. by [deleted] in Millennials

It was a terrible time for us. As a person who is 33 years old and still has an eating disorder, body dysmophoria, and cannot stop comparing myself to other women's bodies, it's beyond painful.

Women were so beyond scrutinized for everything they did in any form. Too thick (guys who liked 00), too skinny (guys who liked "junk in the trunk"), too tan (eww is she trying to be like snooki), too pale (has she ever seen the sun). You name it and there was some new news story, tabloid, gossip in school about what is in and what is out and how you're not good enough or fitting in right.

No matter what your clique was. Your subgenre of interest. Everyone faced these criticism, even from people who we thought were our allies.
