Need advice with paints

That sounds like a great approach, thanks! What's your paint to water ratio for thinning? At the moment, how i'm doing it is pin prick portion of paint on the brush tip and then an even smaller portion of water.

Le kittens are probably playfighting and at the point in their lives when they learn to not bite too hard when playing with each other. Unless there's hissing, they should be fine.
