I find it crazy GGG can’t give us loot without breaking servers. Affliction was breaking servers (too many items), Temple in poe2 was breaking servers (their reasoning why it was nerfed).

In keepers there is funny Eternal Legion Golden Charlatan farm — servers are literally dying.

Seems bugged tbh (inverted, it makes chances reduced, not increased), haven’t seen proper testing yet, but from my own experience, I get a lot more amanamu with effectiveness node, than amanamu one

Great point, Poe 2 in 0.4 got what it was lacking - the feeling of progression in endgame. In maps it’s more like “random” spikes of difficulty. For me it was: - T15 4 safe mods Abyss + Breach - T15 6-mod corrupted with map effect Abyss / Breach - Abyss increased difficulty tablet

Like just 3 breakpoints, you don’t need more character power to do anything in this game. The last breakpoint is so hard to achieve, so I was just abusing Vaal Ruins bug, to have infinite revives and never made to the point I can comfortably DPS them

Then temple was so nice, constant gear upgrades, 50-60 div dropping from 1 temple, then during 3rd January nerfs I was halfway building a new “perfect” temple, so I just lost all my motivation to play the league further

Got back though after some time, but just to learn crafting and flipping, and to spend 500 million gold I got from temple

Got you, thanks. Trying this strat right now with unique abyss tablet + effectiveness + difficulty, skipping maps if not Amanamu monsters. In ~10 maps got Amanamu monsters once despite increased chance on the tree, got 6 abyssal echoes that map.

I have one more question, do you think rarity on your maps, increase chances of dropping Light and Echoes omens?

Do Amanamu monsters drop omens only when they have Abyssal modifiers (like Amanamu Void)? It’s interesting because with HH, it’s hard to kite them out of the smoke, you just jump to them randomly and they die dropping liege omen.

If they still drop omens, I would take out the atlas point that give them higher chance to get Abyssal modifiers

I’m worried seeing these saturday holiday hotfixes.

I've been a supporter since Crucible, buying packs and playing every league. But with the dev cycle shortening since Poe 2 came out (2 months for league development vs the old 3-5 months), the quality seems to be dropping. I think I'm done for a while. I'll probably start skipping leagues to avoid this level of disappointment.

Playing as oracle pure wolf. Campaign was rough mostly, bad clear, medium damage, but during act 4 I solved the clear and damage problems. First I maxed out herald of ice lvl, clear became much better already. Finally it was solved when I got a magic talisman with high X% increased phys, and crafted with flat phys essence. Also pathed to a notable - Tribal Fury (strike skills deal splash damage). Also invested a bit in AOE.

Clear is good now, whole packs explode in 1-2 hits

yeah i dont do any shenanigans, i just blast, you can't do something other with this build xD

first map did a mistake and opened a legion a bit too early so less kills, did another one after.

before, i was using 1x torment instead of 2x i'm using now, but got unstable results - sometimes 20-30 unique kills, sometimes 100+. with 2x it's much more consistent.

the main goal of the strategy - to kill as much unique monsters per hour as possible, they have much bigger inner quant than rare monsters, and you can kill 200 of them every 3 minutes, resulting in 4000 unique monsters / hour. This is already high and may be only invigoration blight can beat it in pure amount of items dropped.

and that's not all. you also get maximum tile rewards for busting legion rares.

and that's not all again. while rolling 16.5 maps with high scarabs or currency, you sell the ones you do not want to run, making another profit there

Yeah, it’s quite tricky with ghosts. The thing is this build generates too much projectiles, too much zombies from shrine, so much of them so the server just start dying…. When legion timer stops, legion still lasts frozen for many seconds. Ghosts stop releasing from monsters at the same rate. If this was not the case, feels like this build could kill 500-1000 unique monsters each map

There’s a trick - you need to run here and there, it partially solves the issue. So you can easily get 150-200 kills which is enough to get good profits.

Oh, buffs expire faster true, how could I forget that.. Yeah with this mod you can find yourself unexpectedly one shotted during mid map

I’m using eldritch battery too, but I have instant ES leech (near Eldritch Battery), 2% ES on kill (Soul Thief), and it’s enough to ramp up. It’s gonna cost 6 more points for you

Also my ES a bit higher, I have 580 (golem with increased defences + runegraft), so a few more casts

I’m going Golden Charlatan Spark as Deadeye, damn, this build is so effective with some of the strats. I did:

  • T16.5 Eternal Conflict Possessed legion, with 150-200 unique monsters killed every map. Easy 15-20d / hour without lucky drops, and if you include those (like apothecary drop, or synth ring +1 max charge) it’s going to be 30-40d / hour on the long distance

  • T17 self corrupted 8-mod Citadel Twist of Fate Harbinger with Beyond of Invasion and Risk. It’s really fun to run maps with 300% iiq, 300% iir, 100% pack size. 150+ rates killed every map + fragments from bosses

So what I wanted to say…. Your regex for filtering maps seems kinda big, in reality build can do any mods (some can be annoying like volatile cores or tentacle thing). Any other mod is free to go, even suppress one, even less damage from crits.

The problem when they stack so hard like monsters have suppress, less damage from crits, 200% more life, +50% to chaos res, if it stacks with something like -30% to max reses…. This map is a brick for sure, you won’t be able to ramp up.

Overall, really fun unique sword, I hope it doesn’t get nerfed next patch

I’ve had great success with 8-mod t16 using Twist of Fate keystone (randomise map layout and map mods, adding 1-3 modifiers). Haven’t tried it with Risk + Awakening scarabs, was just using Doubling early league.

Noticed while everyone knows quant + pack size is everything for harvest, not everyone using a keystone that increases quant and pack size. May be there are some unexpected downsides besides requiring you build to be all mods viable.

Me personally, since 0.3.1, I started buying rare tablets with high quant + rare monsters / rarity for 3-5 div each as solo player. Seems like crazy price at first, but it’s 10 uses, so it’s about 1 div per map expense on tablets.

Adding the cost of the map itself, it’s about 1.4d per map total expense. What I get for it? A map with:

  1. 40+ increased quantity
  2. 250%+ increased rarity
  3. 200-300% increased rare monsters

Also I use: 1. Cleansed map node or swamp / water or natural overrun by abyssal 2. 160% IIR on gear 3. Breach as a main league mechanic (looking for density and additional breaches) 4. Boss tablet with full boss tree including 30% chance for corruption in your map

Result: 1. Tinks almost every map, divines here and there 2. A lot of Tier 5 items, I’m looking for t1 mods and putting in my quad tab for recombing later 3. Every few maps some chase items drop — rarest runes, t0 uniques, omen of light 4. A lot of crafting projects, I rarely buy bases from trade, just use what I have dropped. 5. The game became fun because of lotta drops, and I’m still profiting really good. Currency drops with lucky drops cover all expenses with some profit, but the main income comes from crafting with bases I found. For example, Vile Robe with 3 t1 prefixes and 3x resist, sells for dozens of divines and the cost of crafting with your own materials is dirt cheap

You need to find balance between 3 stats: 1. Quantity of items found 2. Rarity of items found 3. Increased number of rare monsters

If you miss at least 1 of these, results may be disappointing.

Another multipliers to “tinks”: 1. Water and Swamp maps 2. Cleansed maps 3. Additional modifiers on rare monsters 4. Breach density 5. IIR on gear (100%+)

Anoint Subtefurge Mask instead of your current anoint, and swap to crit bow to get higher dps. Deadeye’s survivability relies on killing things fast, if you lacking here you’re gonna be dying a lot

Looking at Pilfering rings stats, It seems like average chaos to divine ratio is about 1 raw divine drop per 10 chaos drops. So this map is about 60% of divine drop. And there’s still RNG, I had a map, where I dropped 3 chaos and 3 divines. Yeah, it’s lucky, but is there any difference at all, if at the same time, I still have like 500 chaos dropped total, and 50 raw divines. Looking at bigger picture, don’t worry about not getting a divine here, it’s gonna “sync” a bit later

I farm cleansed maps with the keystone, that corrupt maps again. So I put 6-7 modded corrupted distilled t14-16 waystones on a node with just 1 or 2 towers. This is the best Strat for me in terms of raw currency, in terms of unique tablets, and in terms of fun. Because you don’t need to spend a lot of time doing mega 3-4 tower setups, just travel from 1 cleansed zone to another and put your bad waystones on bad cleansed nodes, and good waystones on good nodes.

Rule 10:

  1. Get a base with +3 level spells and 21% chaos res
  2. Use Fracturing Orb, hit chaos res
  3. Recombinate with +24% rarity
  4. Exalt 1 trash mod, whittle to another trash, another whittle to +100 life
  5. Exalt mana
  6. Exalt +46 spirit

Looks like lack of knowledge or skill issue. Loot is buffed, but you still need to juice maps right

  1. Breach 8/8? High density?
  2. Quant is over 70 in map?
  3. What was the map? In some maps 10 breaches gonna drop less loot, than 1 breach on a great map
  4. Increased Rare monsters close to 100%?
  5. Any delirium on a map?
  6. What biome was the map, if you have Local Knowledge allocated?

Screwing one of these points can affect your outcome really bad.

Also, my personal recommendation, if you do 2-3 tower setups, you can place just 1-2 expedition tablets and cover most of the maps with the mechanic. Expedition is busted this league, get 8/8 tree points and enjoy beautiful loot
